"I became aware of High Quality Painting as they were working in our neighborhood. I spoke with Nicholas about their services and he came to our home the following afternoon to assess the job. He provided a reasonable estimate the following day. As this was a small job, they were able to schedule the work rather quickly. We were very impressed with Nicholas’ professionalism, promptness, and their quality of work. We would definitely use them for future painting needs."

"We had a pipe break due to freezing and found Tri-State Complete Home repair and Maintenance on Home Advisor. Tim and his crew showed up and began the restoration project. That is when things got messy. He found a major structural defect caused by a decade of water leaking from an exterior door. Tim came up with a solid plan to mitigate the problem and executed it flawlessly, quickly and professionally. He scheduled every phase of the project including Mold Mitigation, structural repair (framing), Drywall and Painters. Start to finish Tim got the job done. All of the crews that work for him were prompt, courteous, professional and thorough. Tim is a professional PERIOD. He is extremely good at what he does and a perfectionist. Every step of the way he takes the time to communicate his plan, explain the steps needed and then EXECUTES! This group of pros have restored not only my home but my faith in small businesses. Thanks Tim and everyone who worked on my project. I would not hesitate to hire Tri-State Complete Home Repair and Maintenance for any future project in my home, In fact, I already have!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Lebanon, OH

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
