"It was a great experience. I highly recommend prodigy roofing. He was right on, he messaged me right away, communicated the whole time. He gave me an estimate within a few days the project was complete. Chris went above and beyond. He actually took a satellite down for us and ended up repairing our roof there that was damaged. I highly recommend prodigy roofing and would use them again. The price was well within budget. I would take a picture but I can't get on the roof."

"Job went great. Tony's crew were in and out in a day. After they were finished, they cleaned up, swept for nails, with a magnet broom, and even blew the leaves from the perimeter of the house. Great job, guys."

"He did such a good job that three of our neighbors have asked for his card and his info to get new roofs too. They were great. We've had roofs put on the house before, twice. We have been here since 1976.The rood wasn't bad we just wanted to get it replaced while we had the money. They gave us a 25 or 20 year warranty on this. We though the price was really good. We got five bids from five companies that came out and walked all over the roof. This bid was not only the most sincere but it was the actual owner of the place that came out here. Within the price ranged I'd say he was more on the low end. We got the color we wanted. We had originally talked about putting a metal roof on but he said that the new asbestos shingling that they put up that is made with silicon in it will last longer then a metal roof would. We were just very happy he showed us all the differences and everything."

"The project leader, Jimmy, inspected the roof and submitted a proposal for the repair work on 5/25 which we accepted and got on the work schedule. A repair technician was scheduled to perform the work on 6/30, later than I had hoped, but there was a backlog of work to do. The weather on 6/30 was not good so the technician was rescheduled for 7/7. The technician arrived on time and performed the repair work as specified in the proposal. The following week it rained and the roof was still leaking and another area also was leaking that had not been leaking before. I contacted the office and Jimmy was scheduled to come back on 7/18, which he did. He found the "new" leak and repaired it, and did some more work on the original leak. The weather was pretty dry for the next two weeks, but after another good rain, the roof overhang was still leaking. Jimmy came back again the week of 8/7-8/11 and found the source of the leak and repaired it. The roof passed a stiff test when the remnants of Harvey dumped 6" of rain. I appreciated the efforts of Jimmy to find and fix the problem even though it took a few visits and there were no additional charges."

"We used Websters Tree Service in late November 2022 and are happy to share that we are very happy with the services they provided. The important thing is that we agreed on the price estimate (they gave us a discount) and that they did their work exactly as stipulated in the service contract. The removal of the main tree was done precisely, clean (without debris falling into our neighbors backyards), they collected and disposed of all the debris, but left us a good chunk of firewood as we asked them. Then the trimming of the other two trees was done also precisely and very neat. What's more important is that their equipment for the stump grinding was not available on the day of the service provided but nevertheless they assured us that they will finish the job within two days. This is exactly what they did (without any delay) and we are very satisfied with the results - precise, clean and neat. We are glad to recommend Websters Tree Services and say "Thank you" to them for the excellent services they provided."

"Over the last 2 plus years, Regan Roofing has replaced a roof on my personal home and rental property. They offered a selection of styles and roofing systems that worked with our budget on both properties. The crew came as expected and completed the job in a timely manner. The work looked great and improved the value of my home (and rental property). Since the roof replacements, we moved to another house where we discovered a fairly severe leak on day four after move in. I called Bill at Regan Roofing the next day. He looked at the roof and had the area patched in less than 24 hours and repaired a few days later at a very fair fee. If you need a roof I confidently recommend this company. Regan Roofing is a shining example of professionalism, service and integrity. Joel H. Nashville, TN"

FAQs for roofing installation & roof repair projects in Lebanon, TN

An average Cape Cod roof-raising project requires approximately two to three months from start to finish. The timeline depends on several variables, including weather conditions, contractor availability, material delivery schedules, and the specific complexity of your home's structure. The process involves multiple phases, including demolition, framing, roofing, window installation, and interior finishing. Working with an experienced contractor who provides a detailed timeline can help set realistic expectations for the project duration.

While most Cape Cod homes can accommodate roof-raising modifications, each house requires individual structural assessment. Older homes may need foundation reinforcement or wall strengthening before supporting additional weight. Factors like the existing roof framing system, load-bearing wall placement, and overall structural integrity all influence feasibility. A qualified structural engineer should evaluate your specific property before proceeding with design plans. Additionally, local zoning ordinances may restrict maximum building height or architectural modifications in certain neighborhoods.

Temporary relocation is highly recommended during a Cape Cod roof raising project. The construction process involves removing portions of your existing roof, exposing interior spaces to potential weather damage, and creating significant noise and dust. Most homeowners find temporary accommodations for the two to three-month construction period, with relocation costs ranging from $2,000 to $6,000, depending on your housing choices. If staying with family or friends isn't possible, budget for short-term rental or extended-stay hotel expenses as part of your overall project cost.

Consider roof raising when you experience severely limited headroom throughout the second floor, find yourself constantly stooping under sloped ceilings, or have minimal usable floor space due to low ceiling heights. Other indicators include inadequate natural light, poor ventilation, and difficulty accommodating standard furniture in upstairs rooms. Simple renovations can improve an attic's appearance, but cannot create additional headroom without structural modifications. A complete roof-raising project makes more sense than cosmetic renovations if you're seeking genuine second-floor living space rather than just storage improvements.

Begin your search by seeking contractors with specific experience in Cape Cod structural modifications and dormer additions. Request detailed portfolios showing similar completed projects and ask for references from previous clients with comparable work. Verify that potential contractors hold appropriate licenses and insurance coverage and understand local building codes relevant to roof raising. Interview multiple candidates, comparing price quotes and their communication style, project approach, and proposed timeline. The ideal contractor should demonstrate a thorough understanding of Cape Cod architectural characteristics and structural requirements.
