They identified two areas of trouble; my patio slab connected to the back of my basement and two vertical cracks 10 feet high.  They poured concrete and replaced the slab including a bell drain for drainage which came out very nice. Even built a stair that leads to the sliding glass patio.  They repaired the vertical crack by digging down to the bottom of my wall (excavated) and they used this waterproof gel, then filled the space back with dirt. It looks very nice. The waterproofing and concrete work came with a warranty which gave me comfort. "From start to finish it was nothing less than perfect while dealing with Chris. The first time we met with him we immediately had a connection due to his friendly personality. He provided a design of the patio and suggested the color coordination. We signed the contract in November 2016 and Chris was up front that the installation wouldn't be until June 2017. Although it was a long wait it showed that he was in high demand. At the end of May Chris reached out to let us know that he would start the first week of June. It took 8.5 days to completes and it turned out beautifully. They put a significant amount of time into the ground preparation to ensure that the wall and floor have a strong foundation. The curves and cuts of each paver was meticulously done. Chris and his crew were very professional and respectful of our property. They cleaned up at the end of each day and even took their own garbage away with them. We never had to worry about anything while they were here. "Everything went great! When I called to schedule a quote they came out quickly and gave me a quote that was easy to understand. Scheduling was easy and the communication was excellent when the weather didn't cooperate and things had to get pushed back a day. When it came to doing the job they were on-time, polite, kept me apprised of how things were going, and paid attention to detail. "Couldn't be happier with the level of professionalism, personal care, and attention to detail that we received while working with Basement Waterproofing Specialists. After experiencing several rainwater issues in the basement we worked with Aaron and the team to replace the entire sub-floor drainage system including new sump pumps with battery backups and external underground drainage pipe extensions. "We reached out to Plantique in the fall to get an estimate on some grading and landscaping for our front garden bed area. Whenever it would rain heavy, we would have a lot of water pooling issues. Mike from Plantique came out, took pictures and measurements, and got back to us with a reasonable quote. We had the work done in early December. The guys that came out were very friendly and ensured that the work was done to spec. They even added a little extra mulch and work that we didn't expect. Overall, the work looks great! Friends and family have already commented on how great it looks. They even threw in a free top-off/cleaning after the winter ends. If I could give one area for improvement it would be the timeliness in communication and scheduling. There would be a few days of delay when a request was made. But it's not enough to remove a star. I would certainly recommend Plantique for your landscaping needs!"

"I can't say enough good things about Uncle Handy. He now services two of our offices in the area. He always gets to them quickly and goes above and beyond to find the right material we need for the job. The handyman we were using at one of our offices always took at least a month to get around to the repairs and then it seemed like we were always calling him back for the same thing. "We have a small Cape Cod. (930 sq. ft.) We needed the aging slate roof removed. The crew protected shrubs and trees and cleaned up well. We have had the new asphalt roof for 9 months. So far so good. I don't anticipate problems. There was one small area we were not happy with. We called K the day after. They listened to what we had to say and they came out and fixed it. So, we were pleased and thought they gave us a fair price for the job. The work crew were not Kunsman employees, but a subcontractor. K have used this guys for years. At first I was wary about this (because I did ask if the roofer were employees of Kunsman or a sub). But, Kunsman said that he had a good track record and they would vouch for him. They were right. He and his crew were great."
