"many homeowners have experienced bad repairs by supposedly professional tradesmen. when repairs are done correctly, credit should be acknowledge. this review is about one such company. Harts Windows & siding out of Castle Haynes, N.C. every member of this crew were courteous and respectful towards my wife and I. just to say the roof looks great is not enough. some particulars need to be mentioned. my wife has a botanical garden with many expensive and rare plants surrounding the house. when Harts crew set up to start the roof every effort was made from start to finish to protect the vegetation. Harts company laid tarps using extreme care as not to harm them. now on to the roof...there is one person designated to pick up all of the debris and he did this constantly, every tiny piece. Harts crew does not use air-nail guns to secure the shingles but every nail was driven in the correct manner in the correct position by using only hand and hammer. every potential leak area was reinforced. most days the crew worked , the heat index was well over 100*. with my limited knowledge of roofing it was pure pleasure to observe this crews work habits. not one short cut was made. it's been 2 weeks now and still impressed with this crew. any and all questions were answered with the utmost respect and courtesy. in my opinion this crew is a direct reflection of this companies owner, Derek Hart, he displays zero tolerance for less than perfect performance. we are very happy to have made the decision to hire Harts Roofing after reading many reviews on Angie's List. also, prior to the job Mr. Hart came to our house to give the estimate and explained every sequence of the job and description of the top grade materials he only uses for longevity. we highly recommend Harts Roofing Company of Castle Hayne NC."

"The roof replacement was completed in 1 day. The crew worked very quickly and did a good job cleaning up when finished. Looks really nice. CertainTeed shingles with limited lifetime warranty and Cole has 2 year labor warranty. The gutters and helmets took 1 1/2 days. Very friendly crew. Explained how the helmets would be mounted to gutters when I asked. Also ended up having to replace some fascia boards but they showed me where that needed to be done after removing the old gutters. The wood repair looks great."

He was very knowledgeable about these very specific specs to obtaint a Bronze, Silver, or Gold certificate for a reduction of windstorm insurance rates in NC. We are applying for the bronze certificate. Other roofing companies, including the most expensive, were not familiar with these requirements.  Mr. Schroeder supplied me with the paperwork to apply for the mitigation.</p>"

"Great experience from estimation to work complete and cleanup. Excellent discussion on the scope of work to be completed, schedule and cost. The work started on time, was completed VERY timely with very high quality. The workers took great care to cover items near the house (walk areas and plants) to prevent damage and minimize cleanup efforts. It was determined the home had water damage beyond expected, workers quickly notified me and shared the observations. Materials was rapidly obtained for additional work and completed without delay to the project. The overall replacement was very timely. The entire project including cleanup was completed in two days. The cleanup of the property was excellent. Magnets were used to clean along with manual cleanup. Wind carried material in neighboring yards and this was also cleaned in a professional manner. OVERALL EXCELLENT WORK!!!"
