"I phoned on a Saturday, wanted to know if I needed someone right then, I told them lets wait till Monday. <br>Monday Morning they had someone arrive after they called in they were on the way. <br>Technician arrived introduced himself, started reviewing the equipment, ask a few questions and in minutes had determined the issue. <br>I would say if I had not bothered the technician, talking to him :) he would have finished sooner! <br>Anyway the Tech found the running capacitor was bad (Train equipment) and replaced the bad part. <br>started the unit up, let it start cooling and determined my refrigerant level was good, and that the airflow and cooling at the vents was proper. <br>Great customer service !! <br>If I had 10 thumbs I would give them 10 thumbs up! <br> <br>"

"Our A/C was blowing but not cooling, and Stewart's got someone out shortly after I called them. After troubleshooting, they determined the motor and blade of our 30+ year old unit needed to be replaced. Due to the unit's age they would suggest replacement, but their tech thought it may be possible to figure out a match to the now-obsolete parts. They priced each of these options to us--$650 for blade/motor repair, and several options ranging from about $5500-$6500 for total replacement of the A/C unit, with the higher end including an upgrade. We discussed it, and decided upon the highest option--replacement and upgrade. Then we got the call that due to the pandemic, the Amana factory was down, and that would not be possible. Stewart's graciously gave a few suggestions and guidance toward what to ask/look for with other repair places, if we were set on quicker replacement with a premium brand--while also giving us other non-Amana options. (My understanding is they are contractucally obligated to Amana as their premium brand... so another premium brand wasn't an option through them.) Instead, we opted for the motor/blade repair, and to put an order in for an Amana 4 ton unit. We have a history with Stewart's, and they have always treated us extremely well... everything from quick service and making our options easily understood, to being aware of tax rebates and incentives. Price-wise, they are also very competitive. At the end of the day, they were able to find a match to our VERY old motor, plus the tech was even able to re-use our old blade... saving us almost $200. (And yet again, earning our loyalty.)"
