"Our A/C was blowing but not cooling, and Stewart's got someone out shortly after I called them. After troubleshooting, they determined the motor and blade of our 30+ year old unit needed to be replaced. Due to the unit's age they would suggest replacement, but their tech thought it may be possible to figure out a match to the now-obsolete parts. They priced each of these options to us--$650 for blade/motor repair, and several options ranging from about $5500-$6500 for total replacement of the A/C unit, with the higher end including an upgrade. We discussed it, and decided upon the highest option--replacement and upgrade. Then we got the call that due to the pandemic, the Amana factory was down, and that would not be possible. Stewart's graciously gave a few suggestions and guidance toward what to ask/look for with other repair places, if we were set on quicker replacement with a premium brand--while also giving us other non-Amana options. (My understanding is they are contractucally obligated to Amana as their premium brand... so another premium brand wasn't an option through them.) Instead, we opted for the motor/blade repair, and to put an order in for an Amana 4 ton unit. We have a history with Stewart's, and they have always treated us extremely well... everything from quick service and making our options easily understood, to being aware of tax rebates and incentives. Price-wise, they are also very competitive. At the end of the day, they were able to find a match to our VERY old motor, plus the tech was even able to re-use our old blade... saving us almost $200. (And yet again, earning our loyalty.)"

After getting quotes from a number of other companies a friend recommended the comfort man and I soon realized why, they are very honest, professional and knowledgeable starting with the conversation with Robin when I called to set up my appointment for an estimate, to Mike and Chase who came out and gave me a through overview of what to expect in replacing my system complete with pictures so you could see what they were going to do. This exceptional service continued with the install team Ryan and Kurtis as well as they texted and then called to let us know they were on their way, they explained what they were going to do during the install process, explained the thermostat and how our new system worked and showed us photos of our installed system very through and when they left you could not tell that any work had been done it was that clean. Would and will be recommending this company to others."
