To be fair, this was during the summer of 2021 and most contractors seemed to be experiencing delays. We ultimately asked for our deposit to be returned. They seem to do good work. "I got a good quote for filling in multiple holes in my very large front yard. ( caused by soil dropping down to fill in holes where septic lines were installed) Rather than mowing the grass very low, so he could given a proper estimate , Sergio just glanced over the lawn ( grass at summer #3 setting) He missed more than 1/3 rd of the yard and gave me a low cost estimate . When I asked his crew to fill in the rest of the areas I had to talk with Sergio to be specific about my request. AT no time was I angry nor were they defensive. They brought in another large truckload of top soil and did the work, but it increased my price by quite a bit. I can deal with all that without frustration because they were ALL lovely people. As the grass came up so did tens of thousands of weeds. Apparently they did not get topsoil that had been heated to kill weed seeds. Maybe thats not a thing with all contractors??? I wrote Sergio whom I consider very professional and responsive to ask when it was safe to use weed killer on "baby grass". He never responded."

"CRACKS, CRACKS CRACKS !!!My brand new ten month old driveway from Total Paving is a bunch of CRACKS!!! The cracks are growing longer and wider and new ones are forming all over my driveway- down the center of the whole driveway, along the sides and in between. The owner of Total paving George Lozada even noted on an invoice that “a notable amount of cracking , which is not typical for a year old driveway , has become an issue that may not be resolved by typical repair methods”However, he would not redo the driveway which is under WARRANTY unless I hired a soil Expert and agreed to pay for the dig up of the old driveway undercutting and new asphalt which was going to be the case as asking for a driveway without cracks was opening a can of worms . I already paid 11,589 and am not going pay for a redo .The Total Paving says they Guarantee an esthetically complete driveway that shows off its quality through its beauty”- that is Not my Cracked driveway! Total Paving website states “our commitment to you is to provide a strong and durable pavement that us functional , reliable for years to come “ - that is Not my Cracked driveway.Total Paving website states “the proper steps are taken to install a driveway that lasts “-that us not my Cracked driveway! Whether it was improper base,( which I have pictures when they widened my driveway on the cracked side they never added any rocks or base the day of installation)wet base, the asphalt material or installation workmanship something went wrong that day and my driveway from Total Paving is horribly Cracked!"
