"Rene did an awesome job on our project. We had our popcorn ceilings removed and the entire interior painted. Although the project was extremely messy, Rene made sure we were satisfied at every stage of the project. We would hire Rene to do work in the future."

"Matt did a great job with our house. There was some bad weather that washed some of the paint off after they left. Matt and his crew came back out over the next few days and repainted everything and finished our home. Our home looks bigger, cleaner, and brand new. The bid that was proposed was right on with my budget. I would recommend Southern Colorado Painting to anyone looking for any type of paint project."

"I am very happy with the job Jacob has done. My house is big so it wasn't easy. Jacob painted my house and shop in less then a day. He was very kind and courteous. He explained what he was doing for each step he did, even pressure washing my house the day before. He kept a very clean job site and became good friends with my dogs. He even went and bought them snacks. I have never had any contractors be so professional and helpful before. I highly recommend Jacob and his crew for any job you need. I will be calling him in the future for more of my projects I need help with. Thank you again Jacob you did an AMAZING job on my house. P.S. I'm so glad I don't have to look at that horrible blue color anymore.."

"This company was so easy to work with. Tim was very patient with me in finalizing the decision on colors. He and his crew used top quality paint to paint body of house, trim, front door and shed. They completed our paint job ahead of the projected time. We are so pleased with their service and our beautiful house."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Limon, CO

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
