"I removed all of my lawn years ago replacing it with mulch. Still I have a large section of the side yard covered in ivy with ornamental shrubs an n few bushes. It had been a year since it was last maintained and was very overgrown with weeds and other invasive plants (sumac, etc.). Mr. Mendoza called minutes after I posted a request online for the work, and dropped by my house later that same to look at the side yard work, and gave me the estimate which I accepted. Mr. Mendoza and his small crew arrived at 8 AM the next day, as promised, and spent 6 difficult hours cutting, trimming, digging out woody vines, sumac, and weeds. A difficult job on a rocky slope! They also trimmed all the other shrubs and bushes on the property and did a general clean up also. I was extremely satisfied and hand apply with the work Mr. Mendoza and his crew did, and will look forward to having him back this fall for general yard clean up. They do great work!!"

After meeting with Justin (owner/operator) the first time I knew I was in good hands. He was very professional and has a great attention to detail. After going over the plan of repairs, Justin pointed out the terrible crab grass in my yard that spread more and more every year. He suggested a process of chemical treatments and seeding. "Jose and his team were wonderful! I put in a request for a quote to tear out some bushes & do some garden cleanup and mulching, and within an hour had gotten a call back to discuss the job. Jose came by same-day to quote the work and his quote was significantly better than his competitors. We scheduled the work for the next day, and Jose and his team were awesome. They showed up on time, worked hard and efficiently throughout the day, maintained great communication, pointed out some maintenance I'd missed and offered to tack it on, and did really excellent work across the board. They went above and beyond in cleanup and finishing. Overall a great experience. I'll be hiring Vilchez Landscaping for my future needs!"

"I was completely blown away by the work that we had done. Lisa, who was the designer was very attentive and quick to return emails and really put a lot of thought into my project. She always responded to emails within an hour and was very honest with me when it came to ideas that i had for the project. She provided a detailed drawing of my property with her ideas for plantings, stepping stones, etc. this made my life very easy by not having to imagine what she was thinking. PJ, who was the foreman on the job was also a great guy and on top of things. He always had my best interests in mind when giving his opinion about grading the yard and what would be best for my children, which was my highest priority. Walter was one of the workers who did a lot of the grading and he was also in constant communication with me. Walter and PJ came up with, and implemented a swing-set area that doubled as a retaining wall to bring up the grade on the lower side of my yard and it came out amazing. We had some irrigation issues at first because some areas were being over-watered. Nick, who was in charge of the irrigation came out to my house multiple times, after all of the work had already been paid for, to make sure that my timers were taken care of and the grass remained in tip-top shape. After paying in full, I still got immediate responses from all parties in this company and they provided immediate solutions within a day or two. They could have put me on the back burner to handle current customers, but they remained attentive to my needs. I plan to use them for cleanups and for all of my fertilizing. I highly recommend this company to everyone."

"The workers worked hard and were quite efficient. They did more than I expected. With leaves gone, beds cleared, shrubs trimmed, and mulch, the garden and yard look tremendous. They also put fertilizer on the lawn and gave me instructions when to water it. We have a small yard, and a team of 5 finished the work in 2 hours."
