"A+ Landscaping did an absolutely outstanding job designing and constructing a new patio for us. When originally built, our house had a 10'x12' concrete pad that was not very functional. We wanted a new and larger patio that would be conducive to outdoor entertaining and also be very attractive, while also complying with local stormwater management ordinances. Marcus came out to our house, sketched out a design, and gave us some great ideas. When completed, the patio was about 450 square feet, with Techo Bloc permeable pavers, sitting walls, pillars, and and low voltage lights on a timer. ([*** Link removed ***] This was not an easy project, as the local Township stormwater management regulations required careful planning, extensive excavation, and an infiltration bed to be installed underneath the patio. In addition to the patio, A+ Landscaping also installed some river rock in an area where grass doesn't grow well, three large stepping stones, new mulch beds and plantings along one side of the patio as well as along one side of the house, and also installed three pop-up rain spouts in the yard. They started the project when promised and worked straight through until completed four days later. They also reseeded areas that were excavated. I am biased, but I believe we have the nicest patio of the more than eighty homes in our community! We spent about $17,000 for everything, but that included the patio and landscaping work. "BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT !!!!! I purchased a 2 hr handyman coupon to fix an exterior door that wasn't closing properly. This door needed to be fixed. A hinge had come undone I had heard that “winter was coming”. The repairman arrived on time and he suggested an alternative fix to re-notching the hinges and tearing out the framing of the door. My door was closing perfectly in half an hour! This quick fix gave me time to address some repairs I had thought out of reach of this coupon. In short, within my 2 hours, my handyman had patched a crack in my concrete steps and in the driveway (using a mix I had on hand as well as some materials he had in his truck), moved my air conditioner to the basement, and performed many tasks that single women call “please move this and put it there”. "It was suggested, by a realtor friend, to have an engineer evaluate my basement problem. This was after Mr. Shelly had submitted an estimate. The engineer's report stated that a wall inside a wall was the best and most economical solution for my basement.   Mr. Shelly called to follow- up on his estimate soon after.  There was no hesitation in hiring him for the job. This was the solution he had already decided was the best solution for my basement. The other contractor's estimates were suggesting a smaller and less expensive correction. This was a very difficult and labor intensive job.  And, we were hit with the coldest winter in recent years.  Nevertheless, the work was done professionally and as fast as possible under the circumstances.  A few times the masons had to postpone a days work because of the sub-freezing temperatures and the freezing of their equipment.   Mr. Shelly was hands on for most of the work, and I saw him personally painting my basement floor on his knees.  It dosen't get any better than a contractor who would do this job himself.  I would hire him again and refer him to anyone who would ask."
