"Ryan and team excellent to partner with. He came out next day, gave free estimate. Gave competitive bid with exterior damage option as well as paint options. Terms fair, 30 percent down when started. His team started inside a week. The quality of their work was fantastic. The prep and caulking work was done without any shortcuts. Painting quality excellent. I chose them due to 5 star rating and they were local. His business lived up to their 5 star rating. Would highly recommend."

"Our home with southern sun exposure was in need of quality exterior paint. Suggestions were made for our harsh climate, and a color consult helped us feel confident with a more modern color palette. Detailed photos documenting the needed exterior repairs ensured nothing was missed. The work was completed with efficiency and thoroughness. The final walk-through was done by the owner, though there was very little fine tuning that needed to be done. The crews were tidy, pleasant, and highly skilled. We couldn't have asked for a better experience."

"Troy and his crew did exceptional work!!! They were on time, moved the majority of the furniture and pictures in the areas, and removed the light and furnace covers. Due to our mistake in choosing a wrong color for the accent wall, Troy and other crew members were understanding and patience while we looked at different colors. Once we choose a new color, they repainted the wall with no problems, and the wall looks fabulous!! After the painting was finished, they moved the furniture back, replaced the light and furnace brackets, rehung pictures, and cleaned up their painting supplies. The paint job was perfect!!! Will certainly use them again."

"Scott's Roofing was awesome! The project manager/consultant was extremely organized and extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of roofing and dealing with the insurance company, so professional and considerate. No nonsense, fixed issues that other roofing companies prior to them had not addressed. Listened to us and gave solutions to concerns long before any work was started. The roofers were excellent as well. They were so methodical in their processes that they had our roof done in 2 days while everyone else in our neighborhood was putting up with 1-3 weeks for replacement roofs. When they removed the damaged roof, they brought piles to the front of the house where the dumpster was and threw everything in there instead of dropping roofing all over the yard and then having to go pick it up and put it in the dumpster, thus saving time and not creating messes. Brilliant! Left NO messes whatsoever in our yard. The finished roof was excellent."

"M&E ruined our brand new and very expensive deck because of the inferior product they recommended as a "stain". Within months the product began bubbling, cracking, and peeling. And the stain job was never right from day one...M&E and their workers seemed puzzled by how many coats it took to complete the job, which took longer than expected, and still there remained some areas that were unevenly stained. And, no prep work whatsoever (sanding etc.) was done. Then the cracking began, and now the stain even brushes off with the simple sweep of a broom. It is clear that the wood was not stained, but more like painted. We located a detailed evaluation of this product which concluded "Benjamin Moore’s Arborcoat is prone to peeling in cold weather states...and did not perform well on a newly built deck". It was also stated that within months "the Arborcoat had peeled significantly on the brand-new pine deck. Patches of the finish had peeled off the wood in strips. You could peel back large sections of stain with your fingers. The product did not seem to have penetrated into the wood at all." M&E initially responded by coming back on two separate occasions to paint over the areas that had peeled away, which was completely ineffective and did nothing to prevent future deterioration. M&E offered to come out a third time, which we initially declined. As matters continued to worsen, we contacted M&E once more, upon which they responded "You left this issue to get worse and not be addressed when we were willing to address it, and due to this, that issue is now between you and the manufacturer". M&E, I'm sure if you had come out a third time, our problems would be magically solved? So I guess it's our fault now. We trusted M&E to recommend the right product for the job, based on their experience, but they failed, and now we will have to pay another company thousands more $$ to refinish the deck using a suitable stain, since M&E has not offered to do so. Or, maybe I should be thanking M&E for going beyond the call of duty to come up and paint over a few cracked spots, since they do not warranty decks. Lesson learned and buyer beware! FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in Livermore, CO

Painting vinyl siding is a budget-friendly way to revive curb appeal without paying for new panels. As long as the boards aren’t warped, cracked, or leaking, a coat of high-quality acrylic paint can buy you another five to 10 years before replacement.

Stick to lighter shades so the siding doesn’t soak up excess heat, and prep the surface well for the paint to bond. If you’re seeing rot or moisture damage, skip the paint and plan for new siding instead.

High-quality acrylic paint is recommended for vinyl siding. Acrylic paint adheres firmly to vinyl surfaces and resists peeling and fading, providing a sleek and long-lasting finish. Ensure the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for optimal results. Your exterior painting pro has the expertise to properly prepare your siding’s surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Priming is not required if the vinyl siding remains in good condition and is properly cleaned. However, if the original color is severely faded or the panels have become porous, priming becomes essential. Priming provides a smooth, even base that improves paint adhesion and enhances durability, ensuring the acrylic finish adheres properly and lasts longer.

A paint sprayer is the quickest, most consistent way to coat vinyl siding. The fine mist reaches grooves a roller can miss and lays down an even layer in a fraction of the time. You’ll still need a brush for tight corners, but a sprayer slashes labor hours and reduces lap marks.

If you’re renting equipment, ask the supplier for a tip size made for exterior acrylics so the paint atomizes correctly and sticks to the siding.

Painted vinyl siding lasts between five and 10 years. The durability depends on the quality of the surface preparation and the local climate conditions. When the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, and high-quality acrylic paint is used, the finish endures longer. In hotter regions, the lifespan may be closer to five years, while cooler climates help extend it.
