"This is the second time we’ve used Joe and his team for a remodeling project. The first was a full kitchen relocation/remodel, restroom addition and restructuring the great room layout. This project was our master bath remodel, and his team member Daniel took the lead on the project. Per usual, Joe and Daniel didn’t disappoint! Attention to detail was phenomenal, professionalism was top notch, and the job was completed with permits to code. They gutted the entire bathroom, moved plumbing, moved ceiling heights, replaced a window, adding lighting, installed new vanities and fixtures and completed a full bathroom re-tile. It’s rare to find a great contractor, and one you would invite into your home for more projects time in and time again. Just be mindful that some projects may not be completed on time, but this is due to attention to detail, and Joe always making sure that every part of the job is completed to the highest standard. It made us comfortable and assured from the get go. There were companies that came in under (and over) their bid, but we felt we were getting the best service and product for our money, and valued that over "getting the best deal". And our instincts were on point. The team that came out to do the job took pride in their work, they completed the job on time (despite some hidden repairs that required extra work), and they were great people. GREAT people! I cannot emphasize that enough b/c it's not easy to come by. We would definitely do business with them again in the future."

"I am not usually one to write reviews but this experience deserves mentioning. If you ahven't noticed, contractors are really busy in the Sacramento area. getting called back or a quote seemed nearly impossible and when my long term tenants moved out of my beloved home I had raised my two daughters in, I knew a facelift was in order. As I began to encounter one delay after another in getting responses and bids as well as starting projects in general, I have to admit, I did what many people probably do. I went on Craigslist and found someone who was available. It began with ripping out flooring, replacing flooring, all of the items on my Pest Report, and there were several. A few months and quite a bit of money later, I stopped in to look at the work. I was shocked to see that the guy doing the tile had about reached the ceiling and there was no where for the remaining pieces to fit. The floor around the toilet was even, the replacement window for the garage didnt fit and the paint job looked like I did it. (Not a good thing.) At least I was smart enough to stop. Back to Angies List and voila. Its done. GTL wasn't able to come out tomorrow but they actually showed up and then got back to me with a problem. One of their guys drove a screw driver through my crown moulding when he spotted what I thought was harmless moisture beads and water poured out from a recent rain. if they hadnt found it, I wouldnt have even known to file an insurance claim. My realtor just walked through the house a few weeks ago and she exclaimed, "Wow, who did your work? This is going to sell quickly." Yes I wasted some money by not chosing a reputable company initially but if not for GTL, I have a feeling instead of getting Top Dollar I would likely be forced to sell to for whatever I could get. Great guys who went above and beyond, even showed up to meet the cops on a false alarm! (thank you.) Looked so good that I almost want to move back in but its too big for me now. MP in Carmichael"

They initially answered my questions and then provided a quote for supplies/labor and a timeline for completion within just a few days of my initial email, which I appreciated. "Darren was a pleasure to work with. He came out and inspected the roof of my parents home for me. I live a few hours away, and my parents needed help figuring out where a leak was coming from. Darren's estimate was prompt and very professional. He explained in detail what needed to be done, the materials he would be using (along with a brochure) and when he could start the job. I was very pleased as it was in between two rain storms. During the original roof inspection he found another area where dry rot had set in and would inevitably cause more problems. After fixing the leak in the roof he gave me another estimate to fix the dry rot and install new flashing, etc. I had him repair the dry rot and everything is fantastic. <br /> <br /> Elite Roofing may not be the cheapest roofing company; however, I truly believe you get what you paid for. Darren's experience and quality of work are well worth what I paid for. The contract was specific and easy to understand, plus they readily explained each item to be done. The office manager/scheduler, Cintra Davis, has significant knowledge of the trade and is familiarized with past, present and future projects. Cintra is meticulous and a pleasure to work with. Owner Mike Davis has vast knowledge and experience in the field of roofing all types of homes. They took detailed before and after pictures so that I could see exactly what was done. They offered financing that was convenient, fair and reasonable. They stand behind their work, The second job was on a different house that needed significant roof repairs and pest work. The crew completed the roof repairs in a timely manner. They were responsive to all of my questions. Both houses needed a great deal of work, and some items were inadvertantly missed. The crew was sent out right away to complete those items. They are clearly a business of integrity. I highly recommend Mike Davis with Davis Roofing Group. I would suggest the owner (Mike Davis) review the work any complicate jobs where he is not directly in supervision."
