Small jobs welcome

"Brett was very friendly and knew how to remove the trees safely. He cleaned up well after removal of the trees leaving no cleanup for me. His estimate was considerably lower than two other bids I received. I would recommend him to others for similar type work."

"Kolton did a great job and most impressive was the way he cleaned up and replaces the sod. It looked and work great. They are a young company and are a little under equipped with supplies and equipment, but that will come with time. They will also learn the importance of accurate scheduling predictions. Overall it was a very positive experience and Kolton was very pleasant to work with. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others."

"These  gentleman showed at 7am like they said that they would and started right away.  My wife said that they were very  nice and professional. They removed limbs overhanging our neighbors yard, cleaned up all the dead branches and picked up all of the limbs and dead branches and cleaned up everything. We would use them again and let everyone know about the good work that they did.

"I hired them because they were the ones with the quickest, in person response and a nice price. They were here as soon as possible after I made up my mind, and took care of trimming and cutting down all my dead trees, cleaned up in less than a day. Done in one, thank you!"

"They came out very quickly. They grounded my stump but didn t get all of it. It was very deep. They said they got it all and buried the hole. I dig down and wanted to make sure the stump was in fact gone as I have had other people come out and try to remove the stump and failed. When I dug all the dirt out, I still had a stump about 3-4 feet down and still alive. They probably grounded about half of it down but didn t get rid of my problem stump. That is why I gave them a rating of a 4. I could have made it less but the guy was fair on his pricing and did come out the next day."

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Logan, UT

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
