"It took us several days to connect (Vince had been ill, it turned out), but he returned my call. He was able to get a crew to my property the same day. It took them about 1.5 hours to remove both problems. His crew worked steadily and well and displayed a caring about the way they left the property looking. "Melvin did our landscaping, including the design, selection, and installation. Our original backyard was multi-tiered and not landscaped at all - most of the surface area was dirt that could not be planted. Urizar Landscaping as a team did an incredible job, not only clearing all the space and preparing the soil, but hand selecting plants (over 150) for the different areas of the yard, putting in a new lawn and building three raised garden beds in our backyard. We have continued to use them a few times a month for maintenance and replanting for the season."

"Pete and a co worker did a huge yard clean up for us that took the
better part of a day.  He came out first to give us an estimate within
two days of my first contacting him and he was ready to do the work for
us on a super tight timeline within two more days. 
Both Pete
and his co worker  used green friendly methods, such as hand or electric
tools as opposed to gas powered, and honestly the outside of our house
has never looked better. 
The trimmed the weeds in the back into
a nice lawn-like space so my son can enjoy the yard!   They hand weeded
the flower beds and flower pots and generally uncovered a beautiful
garden beneath all the clover.

The Job:

    Aeration:  Quick but thorough.  I've done my own aeration in the past so can assess job quality

    Fertilizer:  Applied fertilizer and pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide as part of the service

    Clean-up:  Thoroughly swept all areas around the lawn

    Knowledge:  Very knowledgeable and forthcoming regarding lawn and weed-related issues.  Had a number of valuable suggestions for how we could improve our lawn's soil condition and enhance water retention (water conservation)  

 

Price: 

    Very good.  $72 (including 10% Angie's discount) for approximately 2000 sq ft of lawn
