"Unfortunately, our experience with Dan was about as bad as it could be. We were given a timeline of 5 weeks in mid February and, after months of ignored emails, finally received drawings in mid-June, 17 weeks later. Once submitted for permitting, the county realized that the snow load information was incorrect and rejected the plans. Frustrating to say the least. In discussing the requisite changes over the phone, Dan seemed unaware of fairly standard industry terms in residential construction (rake wall, difference between ceiling joist and roof rafter, cut roof vs truss, etc) which made us uncomfortable, to say the least. Keep in mind, this is after months of radio silence and considering we'd have to start from scratch with another engineer. Things were discussed three, four times and necessary changes still not made. Fortunately we work with our building department a lot, and these can be addressed in the field. I understand that delays happen. I understand that things can get complicated, often quickly. That said, I expect a level of professionalism, communication, and competence when paying someone for their service. You're a smart consumer and will do as you wish, but we will never, under any circumstance, be using Dan and J2.26 Engineering ever again."

"Felt very deceived by this company. Hired them to do a pipe repair in the basement. On NONE of the estimates we received from them (got 4) did they mentioned how terrible the cement finish would come out. The work involved repairing the pipe, and filling it back with cement. Within a couple of days, the cement was splitting and separating from the foundation and was left looking TERRIBLE. Now, that it has been a couple of days, I have contacted them, and their justification for the atrocious job was “they were plumbers not cement layers” and couldn’t do anything about it. They did not acknowledge my concern or the fact that this was not mentioned at all before service. When you hire a company, your expect them to complete the entire job with excellence, not just a part of it. Terrible business practice by them and definitely do NOT stand by their customer service guarantee. I did not feel valued, appreciated or wanted as a customer."

He is professional, creative, honest and punctual. His team is comprised of hard working, highly skilled guys who truly know what they are doing. Miguel starts a project ON TIME and finishes at the promised time. No excuses and NEVER any "no shows". His bids are fully detailed and fair. He has worked with whatever budget I have for a project and is very good at suggesting alternative ideas/materials to give the desired outcome within budget. In addition he is a PRO in laying sprinkler systems, fixing existing sprinkler issues and planting trees.
