"<p>On March 18, they were called to schedule an estimate to completely upgrade my system to new 4" high-rise sprinkler heads. Came to give me an estimate on March 19 - gave me an estimate and when I agreed, they had their office schedule a time to do the work. The schedule was for March 23, 2015. They arrived at the scheduled time (8:00am) and were finished by 1:00pm.</p> <p>The team was very pleasant, professional, efficient and also answered any questions that I had while they were doing the work.</p> <p>Completely satisfied with the work and the individuals.</p> <br />"

"Manuel was prompt, courteous and professional. He and his team did an excellent job on building the very long brick flowerbed and installing walkways in the yard. He was knowledgeable and completed the work on time. He kept to the schedule he gave me and was available for questions or changes. He didn't seem to be bothered when I added new projects I wanted done. He is the best landscaper I have ever worked with! He really made a difference in how professional he is and I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation! If you want quality work and someone you can count on I would definitely choose Manuel."

"<p>During the purchase process of our new home we noticed that the driveway had large pools of water on it and that there were signs of water on an interior wall which was below grade. Remedy Foundation Repair was contracted to correct both problem areas. </p> <p>Regarding the driveway, they demolished the old one, prepared the site for the new driveway with rebar and forms for a correct slope away from the home, arranged for the pouring of the concrete, and cut the lines into the new driveway. We have had a LOT of rain since the new driveway was installed and the water runs away quickly. The driveway work was quoted and delivered at $12,568. </p> <p>The water signs on the interior wall were evaluated to be a combination of factors in and around the patio, all of which were addressed. 3and quot; grated troughs were installed all around the patio to drain water away from the house and foundation. One downspout had roots growing in it causing water to not drain and then overflow the gutter. It was cleared and a new French drain attached to carry the water away to the end of the driveway. A second downspout was leaving a large pool in the yard and was connected to the French drain as well. A third downspout was routed directly into the trough system. All of the gutters and downspouts (and birds nests) around the patio were cleared and two improperly installed gutter guards were removed. In addition the patio was cleaned, sealed, and regrouted to prevent absorption of water which could leach into the foundation or home. Thus far there have been no signs of water in the interior and the patio has no standing water during storm. This work was quoted and delivered at $5950. </p> <p>We did have some problems with scheduling, although some of that is on us. Due to requirements of the mortgage company we had to get the work done prior to closing, so we REALLY pushed them on the deadlines. They were pleasant to deal with and very personable. All of the workers were friendly and seemed trustworthy. We do have plans to do further business with Remedy once our renovations reach that point. </p> <br />"

"I hired him to do the things that i could see. We were completely rehabing a house. There were lots of things that I did not <br /> know to order so I would just put them on the list as they would turn up. He is a no fan fare guy that knows how to do a lot <br /> of stuff. He seems to know how things are done and what will need to happen next. As he worked we discussed my plans <br /> for the house in the future and in his conversation he laid out the plan for my getting every thing done and he made some suggestions that I might want to do in the future. He is not pushy but he is confident in his skills. He knows Rome wasn't built in a day so you do what has to be done now and then the next time he will add another layer onto that. He is not free but he is <br /> fair and his work is good and complete. <br /> <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Longview, TX

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
