"It was a very positive experience. Krista assisted me in setting up the appointment about two weeks ago and told me that Paul Smith would be the technician to come out. He was on time, even early! Paul was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. He answered all my questions and gave me an excellent tip of how to prevent too much soot, which of course I will not tell you here ;). He even cleaned the fireplace glass door from all the soot and it looks like new. I would say he spent about 1 h working on the chimney, cleaning it from the inside and also getting up on the roof. At the end he left the workplace very clean and assessed my chimney to be in good shape (yeah!!!). The price was as quoted by Krista. ($155.00+tax). "It went great. They took just a bit longer than expected (maybe an hour and fifteen minutes versus the hour scheduled), but were on time (perhaps early) for my first-thing appointment. I don't like to pay travel fees (since I imagine most service folks schedule certain days or other people nearby to offset costs already), but they did a good job and there are only a few people who do dryer vents. They also took pictures before and after to show that it should be done and the results afterwards. They sent a certificate after with pictures showing it was done (may be needed by some HOAs, insurance, etc.)"
