Manny is THE painter for one of the top contractors in our area that is the "go to guy" for remodeling historic homes. I talked with about wanting a quality paint job for our home that was originally built in 1914. I thought he would be good, but I was amazed at how good. For example on just one upstairs deck railing two of his crew members worked for over 2 days sanding and prepping! Overall they worked to insure that everything was perfect. Their attention detail is fantastic. In addition, the entire team was extremely friendly and they did a great job of cleaning up at the end of every day. Manny also diagnosed a number of areas where there was some water damage to exterior beams that are 3 stories high. He suggested a terrific carpenter that quickly and expertly fixed the problems. "Scott painted all the interior walls in our new house, he patched and painted the garage and made it so much nicer, he painted our kitchen cabinets, which turned out beautiful and saved us so much money compared to refacing, and he also painted a tricky accent wall covered with reclaimed wood after patching it, and that changed from a weird problem to an elegant feature of the house. All these projects were expertly done on time while I was away, and his estimates for each were accurate and lower than those of his competitors. "Gruber Painting did a great job painting some of the exterior parts of our home that get a lot of sun exposure and were looking pretty shabby. We felt their price was reasonable. The crew was friendly and got the job done on time. The only thing I can negatively say about the crew is the cleanup could have been better. We found tape left on the ground in several places and lots of the chipped paint all around the exterior of our home."
