"He ended up doing the estimate and it was on par with the other companies. He even called me first thing in the morning and said he could come earlier than expected and eventually we agreed that that he could just come without me being there so i wouldn't have to take off work to meet him. So I was appreciative of that. However, we didn't pick them for this reason: They have a spot on their website that states what their "warranty" is - "Mills Fence Company offers a one year warranty on materials and labor for everything we sell or install." HOWEVER, their paperwork/contract that you SIGN has a caveat at the bottom that says this: "Mills Fence hereby disclaims ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, including any implied warranties, if any, by a manufacturer or supplier other than Mills Fence are theirs, not Mills Fence's, and only such manufacturer or supplier shall be liable for performance under such warranties." (Emphasis added). So, when I asked about this, they pointed me to their website page that indicates they DO offer a warranty.... but your contract says you "DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES". I think you need to go back to your attorney and have them re-word your disclaimer so that it doesn't contradict your alleged company policy."

Turn Key operation from deck design, procurement of permits, demolition and disposal of old deck through build of new deck (including footers). Worked well with customer on custom build of flower planters and potting bench. Approx. 9-days job duration from demolition to finish. A truly dedicated and skilled builder/carpenter (John) did all the work through rain and intense summer heat. He was always helpful answering questions and provided updates each day. Minimal disturbance to surrounding areas and flowers beds. Always cleaned up at end of each day. Great communication, including photos, throughout the process using Builder Trend Mobile App. Company does require upfront deposits and progress payments consistent with build schedule. I am sure this company will stand behind their work."

We had some other work scheduled for the house in a tight window, so Kevin added painters to his team to make sure they got everything done in time for the next contractors to start - even overcoming snowstorms and car breakdowns to meet our deadline. He has great attention to detail (seems to be a bit of a perfectionist), but it doesn't slow him down. We were very pleased with the finished result in every room, and we enjoyed working with Kevin.
