"Ron got back to me immediately after my initial call and came to the house within a week to discuss what we’d like done. We received a cost and scheduling estimate within a few days. The work took about a week. Ron and his team removed all of the existing beds and the red maple in front, regraded the yard, installed an irrigation system, hydroseeded the new lawn, built new beds at the front of the house and planted new shrubs. The results were amazing and we couldn’t have been happier. Two years later, this summer, we discovered an issue with our septic system that would require about a third of the front yard be excavated. Needless to say this was very upsetting given the amount of work that had just been put into improving the yard. Luckily Ron was there to save the day. Ron worked with the excavating company to identify the critical parts of the irrigation system would be impacted and dug them up just ahead of the excavation work. Within a week of the completion of the excavation work Ron had regraded the repaired the irrigation system, excavated area, spread new loam and hydroseeded. Just a few weeks later and our yard is starting to look like our yard again. I couldn’t recommend Ron more highly."

"<p>From the beginning Tony was very prompt arriving 5 minutes before our original meeting. He listened to what I wanted to accomplish with my project and made many suggestions to help make the project even better than I anticipated.  The crew arrived when they said they would and laid down large rubber mats to protect my existing lawn from there heavy equipment. Upon seeing the sitting wall and pillar.  We decided it would be a great place for our grill on the new patio so we asked Tony if he could make the pillar higher so that it could be used as a work prep table by the grill. By noon the next day when I came home the pillar was at a new perfect height. Its one thing to listen to a client but to react so quickly is what separates Tony from most of the other contractors I have dealt with. My only regret is that I didn't listen to Tony's suggestion of adding some landscape lighting. He showed us some beautiful lights that I'm sure would have made the area even more beautiful at night, however trying to keep costs down we needed to cut out something. The patio was such a success that after seeing it two of my neighbors have since decided to put paver patios down in there yard. How ever after watching one of those installs I realized how much better built Artistics patio was. Although I didn't see the whole project I noticed major differences in the amount of crushed stone used and how it was packed down. I'm sure my patio will last many years with all the details Tony and his crew put into it. </p> <p>It was a pleasure working with Artistic Landscapes and hope to have them do some future work at my house.</p> <br />"

"We had a kitchen and bathroom sink that shared a connection to the septic system outflow pipe. The bathroom sink backed up whenever we drained water from the kitchen sink and made and quot;there's a monster in the pipesand quot; noises. Neither of the sinks U-pipes were sealed to their drain pipes properly (The modern sink pipe sizes did not match the 1930s drain pipe sizes). Air was getting into the system and unpleasant aromas were seeping out. <br /> Dave was quick to respond to our message. He arrived on time and was very professional. He did a good job of explaining the options along with the pros and cons of each fix. Dave tidied up nicely after he was done. The new pipes fixed the problem and it looks like he did a very good job (we aren't experts and couldn't tell you if something could have been done differently). <br /> All in all we were very pleased with his response and his work, and we recommend him. <br />"

"Premier Pavers were very attentive throughout the process. They gave a thorough estimate (mid-range for the 3-4 we got), but what set them apart was customer service. They provided us with catalogs and sample materials and were happy answer lots and lots of questions. They were pro-porous paving, which demonstrated they were environmentally aware. They started and finished the job on time, the workers were polite and near, and the quality was good. We installed six months ago and it looks great, no unexpected settling or drainage issues. I recommend!"

FAQs for water feature fountain or waterfall installation projects in Lowell, MA

Installing a drinking fountain costs between $500 and $1,000 for indoor models and an average of $3,000 for outdoor units, including installation. The cost depends on the design, materials, and professional labor involved, with service rates ranging from $45 to $200 per hour. Investing in a drinking fountain can enhance your space's functionality and aesthetic appeal.

A water fountain increases home resale value by elevating curb appeal and enhancing overall property aesthetics. A well-cared-for fountain that matches the home’s design and functions flawlessly boosts buyer confidence and market desirability. Routine maintenance and professional installation ensure proper performance, ensuring that your fountain benefits both daily enjoyment and long-term resale value.

Maintaining a fountain costs $25 to $50 per month for basic upkeep and $50 to $150 for professional deep cleaning or servicing. A fountain of any size requires routine draining, thorough cleaning of the pump, tubing, and surface, plus regular inspections for wear, algae, or mineral deposits. Annual maintenance and sealing further extend its lifespan and enhance its appearance.

How much power your water fountain uses depends on the pump’s size and operating schedule. Smaller fountains use less than 10 watts per day, while larger cascade pumps can require up to 1,000 watts. This translates to an average increase of around $25 per month on your electric bill.

Water fountain installation takes anywhere from a few hours to several days. The installation timeline depends on the fountain’s design, site preparation requirements, and the involvement of professional plumbing and electrical services. Prefabricated water features are set up in a few hours, while custom designs require additional structural and aesthetic modifications and take much longer.
