I sought out 6 companies and received 5 quotes. Jecer was not the lowest bid, but provided more expertise and experience than the lowest bid. The job that I had was on the smaller side and was around 250 square feet of paver and retaining wall. The existing vegetation removal, new paver install, and retaining wall install only took 3 days. The quality of work completed, cleanliness of the area during work, professionalism and helpfulness of the staff, and overall price provided a value for this project that I doubt could be matched by anyone else I talked with. The crew was very open to discussions about the work and how things would look in the end. In one instance one of the crew installed the wrong pipe for the sprinkler system and as soon as Jecer arrived to inspect the work, he immediately corrected the pipe installation to ensure a longer service life of the paver system. "Apex was absolutely awful to work with. I will never work with them again. It took them more than 6 months longer than projected to do the work. They forgot to submit the permit for 2 months. They didn't include things in the price that should have been included, and came back to nickel and dime afterwards. The submitted a new invoice almost a year later and threatened to put a lien on the house when I pushed back. They are terrible and I will tell everyone I can that."

"Let Jose know my budget was $2500. After going back and forth I agreed to $2800. After they started work I was asked to fix additional items. Examples: There we 2 sprinkler heads that were broken ($40, per head). That turned to 4 springler heads. The charge was $475 for that. I have three small back yard entrances where white stones were put down. That charge was $900. I was told the sprinkler timer was only working on one zone and needed to be replaced. He indicated the digital ones could be up to $800. I said I wanted nothing fancy. Timer was not replaced. I thought this was included. The palm trees were supporsed to be trimmed as they were touching the house. As they were leaving I had to reimind them about this. The total cost went from $2800 to $5000+. I felt the prices were high based on agreement of $2800 budget, even with additional items. I had a irrigation specialist come and he said the timer is not broken or stuck in zone one."
