My husband and I needed 6 large diseased trees removed and several others trimmed. The professional who treats our lawn is very reputable and recommended Hoyer’s Express. We live in a very wooded development and had already had dozens of trees removed from our lot over the past 2.5 years. Dustin Hoyer was very prompt to my phone inquiry and provided a reasonable estimate after his assessment. We were scheduled within 2 weeks. The crew arrived on schedule. Clean up was efficient, extremely thorough and everyone was very professional! They were careful around our cable and irrigation lines. They moved our stepping stones, swept the driveway and sidewalks and raked the yard. We are also very happy with the stump grinding service provided. One of the stumps was from a large suppressed water oak that was in the middle of 3 large pines and a laurel oak. After the stump was carefully ground, you couldn’t even tell that there was ever a tree there. They also ground down a stump and part of a massive root system that was “missed” by a previous stump grinder. Frankly, they left the yard better than they found it! "I called three companies to get an estimate for my landscaping. One company never called me back. The other two companies came and did an estimate. Although one company was highly rated on Angie's List, and Gainesville Lawnscaping was not even on the list, I decided to go with them for two reasons. First, their estimate was several hundred dollars less, and I didn't feel I would be compromising on the quality of the work or the plants. Second, I really liked the service manager, Blake Smith, who came out to do the estimate, and who also came to check on the work after it was done. I could tell he was a real plant person, and we had an extended conversation about the kinds of plants I should consider. He then followed up by sending me pictures of different plants by email.I decided to plant three trees (lemon, dogwood, and crape myrtle), and about 18 gardenias and camellias. Two guys came out to do the work and arrived on time. They spent about three hours putting in all the new plants and trees, and added additional topsoil and mulch. They also moved three azaleas from the back yard to a side yard. When they were finished, they used a blower to clean up all debris around the grass, and on the driveway. All the plants and trees are doing very well, and the yard looks great. I plan to use them in the spring to add new plants to the front yard.
