"Steve arrived on time from Pennsylvania, even though the weather was very foggy that day. He analyzed the work to be done and I said the closest store for parts was Home Depot. I explained that Lowes installed the door in 2004. I took a picture and went to them first for repairs but they said they don't repair doors. However, they recommended Angie's List for a handy man and to use treated wood or PVC material for door framing. Steve returned with a door frame kit. He said the material was wood but seemed unsure if it was treated. He repaired the frame which took 4 and 1/4 hours and he allowed me to use a $25 coupon. The caulk had to dry before we could close the door. When dry, I tried to close and lock it with a key using my body weight to push hard but it would not close. I opened the main garage door and was able to pull hard and lock it from the inside. I called and he came back the next day. I was unsure if I was being charged $124 per hour for him to fix it correctly and I was honestly afraid to ask. He didn't say but either way I knew it had to be done. After two hours I told him I had to get back to work. I asked how long would he be? He told me he wanted to make sure it was done right and to my satisfaction. I told him to call me if he needed me and left him to finish. He already had my credit card info if needed and I asked my tenant to try the key in the lock when he was done. I came back on my lunchbreak a couple hours later. The frame was fixed, he cleaned up the area and he was gone. My tenant said the key worked great and there was no other charge."

"Brian and Terry did an excellent job repairing my bathroom door and drywall cracks caused by the force of opening and closing the door. The door now opens and closes seamlessly. Brian even went above and beyond and repaired some holes in my drywall that were not part of the job. (Thank you, Brian!!!) They did a great job cleaning up afterwards, and I would absolutely recommend. I've already passed his contact information to family members who need work completed."

"New life handyman services provided much needed work and a home I recently sold to get it show-ready for potential buyers. Bobby is very professional, reliable, miticulous, and clearly takes pride in his work as demostrated by the craftmanship of the final product. When I needed to have all my interior closet bifold doors cut the size, re installed, and painted--and painting of all interior baseboard and entry doors to make my home, show ready" prior to sale --and later needed sence repair, and exterior carpentry and painting to meet last hour"-HOA requirements prior to closing the sale of my home, he was able to complete the work within a few short days. His work greatly enhanced the interior and exterior appearance of the home and receive high marks from my neighbors and real estate agents. I would highly recommend new life handyman services to anyone who needs quality home repair, remodeling, or custom work performed in a timely manner"

"Had a broken door window and it was fixed quickly and competently"

"I hired Willie and company of All Things New to replace and upgrade my master shower, repair the drywall in my living room ceiling, and reframe a basement door and window that had rotted out. The results were impressive. Everything was completed on time and with attention to detail. What really stands out to me, is that Willie doesn't just follow a template and then sacrifice quality if something doesn't fit into that template, like you'll see with lesser contractors. My former shower had failed almost immediately after purchasing my home in Nov 2015 due to shoddy, unlicensed work. Willie carefully examined the situation and found a solution that left me with an incredible custom shower that I can trust. Thanks again Willie!"

"Took literally months to complete repair even though it was a pre-paid deal. I had to call over and over and over."

"Kelvin called right away to see how his company could help me resolve my issue with the garage door. He sent Gilmer out the same day look at the damage done and provide an estimate. Gilmer installed our new garage door the next week. We were completely satisfied with their customer service from beginning to end and the installation."

"Isiah G. was a great help this morning doing some diagnostic and repair work on my roof after an ice dam with the latest storm. I've used AHC multiple times now and they are great every time!"

"Rob was courteous, pleasant and professional. They did a spotless cleaning job. He showed us pictures of the inside of the chimney from the boiler where the old terracotta lining was crumbling and starting to block the exhaust. Right on time 2 days later and put in a new stainless steel liner. In the afternoon I asked what was taking so long he said that the first liner they put in got a tear so they took it out and put it a new one, guaranteed for life.. I was blown away. Nobody would have noticed. I was blown away by the integrity. The brickwork needs replacing but I already arranged that for after the winter. He asked me a few questions and told me that the guy sounded like he knew what he was doing. Again, you can't buy this kind of work ethic anymore His partner Vinny was very knowledgeable in fireplace mechanics and gave my wife, pretty good at fireplaces herself, some excellent advice. One of my best experiences with home repair folk. And free cleaning next year."
