Justin was proactive about calling to keep in touch about scheduling, he was on time, very polite, and cleaned up everything at the end of each day of work. "Most of what they did was great, but we had two doors that were stained and then varnished. There were white marks left after they dried. I called Don Higgins and he said he would come out to look at it. He did and then sent his son to repair the problem. The son just added another coat of oil varnish but that did not correct the problem. I called Don again and he said he would come out to look at it again. I never heard anything after a few weeks so I called him. He said that he doesn't know why it looks like that and doesn't know what to do to fix it. I guess I am stuck with the problem. Don did not offer any solutions or any form of compensation. I used this company because they were rated so highly on Angie's List. I am very disappointed in the results and the response to my problem."

"Great work. Moved most of the heavy items in the basement, epoxy finish looks amazing. Third floor room went from blue, orange, purple and lime green child's room to a neutral any age bedroom. They tinted the primer for best coverage of old color, two coats of paint. Instead of just touching up the baseboards as we agreed, they repainted them completely so the finish would look better. This is the second job they've done for us. Wonderful company!

"Our old house on the Northside of Pittsburgh was in need of an exterior facelift and a new front porch to replace the one that had collapsed. I met with Dave LaBovick of Exceptional Exteriors and we agreed upon a price, which my wife and I found quite reasonable. The work on the vinyl siding began about a week later and took only a half a day to wrap up. The job was done to our complete satisfaction, The before and after is like night and day. Another crew arrived a few days later to do the porch and sidewalk. They began work on a Thursday afternoon and were finished 24 hours later. Once again, we are very happy with the result. In both cases, they removed all debris and left-over building materials associated with the job. We are not only completely satisfied with the work that Exceptional Exteriors did for us, we are looking forward to hiring them again for our next home project."

"Excellent ... Robert promptly came over and provided a reasonable quote to plaster the kitchen ceiling due to an upstairs bathroom leak that resulted in the plumbers knocking it out. Since this is an older home the plaster needed to have a swirl pattern. I also mentioned painting was needed for the fix and Robert brought in his son who does painting. After discussions, I decided to also have the kitchen walls, chair rails, baseboards, and basement stair walls painted. This price too was reasonable. An appointment was made for a week later for the plaster work and the painting a week after that. Robert and his son and the 2 helpers finished the job promptly and professionally. The plaster with the swirl pattern blended in with the rest of the kitchen ceiling nicely."

"I attempted to paint the ceiling in one room and it looked terrible. I called Rich and he was at a momentary standstill on an outside painting job due to bad weather. He was able to stop by within the hour for an estimate and said he could come back the next morning with one of his guys to do the work. We coordinated for me to pick up the paint, and he and his employee showed up as planned the next morning. They worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. There was an area that needed a touch-up the next day, and both Rich and his co-worker were able to come back ASAP to correct it. I was very happy with their work."
