"I cannot express enough how happy I am with my retaining wall project! From the moment I put in my information requesting professionals to install a retaining wall, I was amazed at the prompt response of Pg Landscaping 360 LLC and with the follow through. Mr. Garcia called within a few minutes of my posting, and came out to my property within a few hours to assess the project and give me a bid. He then had a written estimate emailed to me the same day! We started the project the very next week, and everything was completely organized with loads of blocks, dirt, gravel, and equipment. Each day, all materials needed were there timely, so the project went very smoothly. Mr. Garcia and his team of workers were polite, efficient, and the hardest workers I've ever seen! They worked extremely hard and fast, despite some bad weather. I highly recommend Pg Landscaping and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for any upcoming projects!"

"Jerrod the owner of Archstone was emphatic to point out that he is one of the best if not the best and a very conscientious and honest man. He said the mortar on exterior house wall is very hard and can't be ground out. Per his expert advise the best things is pressure wash and scrape out loose and damaged mortar and use sponging technique to fill in cavities with type S mortar. I understood and agreed asking for care with pressure washer. Quote was $2922 before tax. He said the wall wouldn't look much better than it does now but he would get all the places having egregious deterioration and then seal. Two days work. Moving forward his team (him and a 18 year old nephew) came and went in less than 4 hours. Sealant remained to be done and I could see that cost was itemized at $400. I personally could do it in 1/2 hour so I asked him to scratch it from the price. He was very amenable to that. The issue arose when I was sealing I found and sent him photos of spots with severe erosion that were missed and should take about 1 hour to fix. Some on wall, one in bottom corner of house, one big seam in windowsill. I sent email and photos asking for him to return. He didn't reply. 1 week later I reached him by phone and he said he didn't get the email/or hadn't read it yet but he wasn't going to come back for 'pinholes' which I could do myself. First of all I could do everything myself but that's time that I paid him for. He is too busy to come. Photos are from the south wall as discussed."

"We have had Whatcom Landscapes complete projects for us two years in a row. This past summer we had four different projects for them and they were all completed in a timely fashion and with excellent workmanship. The two workers were prompt, professional, friendly and exceedingly competent. When we had questions regarding the projects they were extremely helpful and polite in their responses. The bids for all the projects were reasonable and the scheduling of the projects were timely. If we have additional projects in the future, we will not hesitate to contact Jon and his crew. I highly recommend them with no reservations."

"I worked with Christopher, who is prompt, friendly, professional and thorough. He came out for an estimate the day that I called, sent me an estimate the next day, and arranged a date for the work. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and also removed a large snag at no extra cost. Everything was done as discussed, with an excellent clean-up as well. I highly recommend this company!"

"Excellent landscaping company! We had to replace some pavers that were pulled up for a sewer repair, and also requested a big section of sod removal. Fernando called the day I posted to Angie, came out the next day with an estimate, and he and his crew started the next week! Great job all around, conscientious, communicated scheduling well, and nice guys too. Will definitely work with them again."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Lynden, WA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
