"I found these company online and I hired them to replace all the existing windows and patio doors with new fiberglass (Milgard) Ultra windows and a double French door from them a few months ago for our renovation. They provided us with an awesome price for the windows and doors themselves and for the labor of the installation as well. The representative that I spoke to was very professional and he came over to my house on the time and day that was scheduled ahead of time via the office. The people that we were involved with (including the installers and the sales man), was definitely outstanding. We had a minor issues that accorded during install, and they provided awesome post-sale support as well. I recommended them to all my friends and family as a great company for any energy efficient products. They are fantastic. And have some Sunday hours, which is absolutely a great help. We purchased 2 additional exterior doors from them and this was an add on that we decided to do in the last minute and after the work was stated. We were sure that they won’t be able to do it during the same time… but they did it and it went so smooth and excellent. Should've gone to Landmark construction energy crew for those too. You can shop with confidence with them!"

"The young guy who did the work was prompt and professional, but not well trained. He power washed my patio BEFORE blowing the leaves and sticks off my roof, so all the debris landed on my just cleaned patio, and he didn't follow up to clean it off.
He forgot to do the garage door and was all packed up when he asked me to inspect, so I just let it ride.

"This is part two of a review for NRG Heating and Air Conditioning. The first evaluation was written as a complaint for a job completed but one that did not follow the all of the stipulations of the contract. This review is written to thank the individuals from NRG who took the first evaluation to heart and then dispatched a team to fix the areas of concern. I am delighted to report that the work completed today was done per the contract. Not only was the barrier wall built between the two condo units as originally promised, the attic was insulated with the additional blown in material, the old attic door sealed and caulked, pictures taken, and the area left clean and tidy. I am most grateful to the general manager, the quality control manager, as well as the insulators who made sure the job was finished per the original contract. NRG should be recognized as a company that not only took the time to read a customer service review but then acted, in a timely manner, to resolve the issues addressed in the complaint. "I contacted R & R Remodeling because they were recommended to me through my church.  They came out to assess the situation promptly and gave me an estimate within just a few days.  The fee seemed reasonable to me, and this window was preventing further progress on our living room project, so we said yes.  They began work the next week.
I was very pleased with the work of Bill the framer who works with R & R Remodeling experts.  He got started a bit later in the morning than I was expecting, but that is the only thing that I have to say that is even slightly less than glowing.  Bill was very knowledgeable and professional throughout.  He was very thoughtful and concerned about getting the window weather sealed and making everything look as if this work never needed to be done in the first place.  He cleaned up after himself as he went along.  He had all the tools he needed for the job with him and worked steadily and efficiently until the job was done.  If only all builders could be like this.  This window is now perfectly installed in our living room wall and we can proceed with trimming it out and finishing our project.  Yay!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
