"I thought I would take advantage of the offer for $49 for $150 worth of electrical time. Very responsive office. Guy showed up in a company truck in uniform so I had high hopes. Spent all of his time trying to figure out why my pool heater didn't turn on only to end up telling me I needed to buy a new controller board. Never got to fixing my pool lights. Also realize now looking at the original Angies ad that I was supposed to receive a "whole house inspection". Never happened. 
My guess is that this operation hires whoever they can for local jobs and dresses them up in uniforms and sends them out in company trucks. They are trying hard in the front office but it's not the same as having full time employees who are accountable. However, I fully admit that I do not know this to be the case. Could have just been the guy who I had.

"My deck was severely damaged (deck collapsed) due to weight of snow on the deck during the winter of 2010 / 2011.  I found Peter Fox on Angie's List.  It was great working with Peter.  He was quick to return my initial phone call, and was quick to visit my house and provide a detailed quote for the project.  I was running the repair through my homeowner's insurance, so the process was further complicated by dealing with insurance adjusters.  Pete took the added complication in stride, and actually offered to help speak / handle the insurance adjusters.

Peter provided an accurate view on when he could start the project.  He showed up on time every day and stuck with the project until it was complete (I've worked with other contractors that start the job then disappear for several weeks).  Peter was happy to make changes as I suggested (I asked him to round some corners on the deck and I asked him to smooth some joints).  Peter told me over and over that he wanted me to be happy with the final product and that he'd change anything that didn't make me happy.

Overall, good quality work.  Peter and his guys are polite and professional.  I look forward to working with Peter on future projects."
