"Owner Lindsey came out quickly and gave me a great quote on cutting down 2 trees that were uprooted in a storm and about to fall on my neighbor’s fence. I accepted and he started working right away while he waited for the rest of the crew. They were quick, efficient, respectful of my property, cleaned up the yard once they were done, all in about 5 hours. I will definitely have them back if needed and recommend them to anyone looking for tree service."

"The workers were very professional. They did serveral things on top of the contracted work. In addition to removal of stumps we had a tree that we also contracted them to remove and they did not come back a second time but removed it the same day and also removed the stump. It was a very hot day and the fellas just kept on working."

"There were additional costs of  $1500. The best was his communication, he was always in contact with me, if they were going to be late, what time they would be there. The collateral damage, like the front lawn was pretty torn up, and you know he threw some dirt on it, he threw some grass, but years later I'm still trying to repair some low spots from the tractor that came through, the Bobcat, it couldn't have been avoided, the damage, but maybe just a better job cleaning up."

"While they were working another job, I stopped and asked for an estimate. They stopped by that evening, gave me a quote and were back the next day to cut down 2 trees and trim another. Would highly recommend."

"I have no serious complaint about the attempt to catch raccoons. That is a hit or miss situation. The fact that a cage from the attempt is still on my roof isn't cool. The process of capping the chimneys was very odd to me. August 10, 2019 a quote was given after a visual/on site inspection. Sadly, by August 24th - 31st the equipment needed to cap two chimneys were not located and not financially prudent to pursue. I am miffed on how this wasn't known on August 10. Okay, fair enough - even if odd. My patience was awesome. All texts and calls back and forth were professional on both sides. Kudos. But I feel like there was too much lag time between some of the communications. I understand a worker had a sudden death in the family. I added extra days in the process for this sad occasion. It was then that I learned that if you start with team A and a sudden and sad event happens, work is not passed onto another team. At least, that is what the worker told me. A refund for the uncapped chimneys was issued as I write this review. I called today to confirm that fact and to advise that the cage is still on my roof, but I got voicemail only. I am not sure if the rep got tired of my calls and texts, but as I had stated back on August 24th - I just want some communication. I also believe if you tell someone that you will be over to do something, stay true to your word. I have to accept some of the blame here becuase I did not get more than one quote. I believe all the men that I communicated with are good men. I only have their words and actions to judge by. I hope my words do not come across as mean sprited, that is not my intent. I am a good, hard working comsumer who will always need good, hard working contractors/businesses."

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Madison, OH

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
