Hi! I am a short-term rental and residential cleaner looking to pick up some deep clean, move out, construction, or home organizing gigs. I would also consider a recurring residential cleaning position if we are a good fit. \n\nI have been cleaning full time for 3 years. I love open communication with clients, and I truly enjoy making spaces feel as clean and welcoming as possible. \n\nBefore becoming a cleaner, I worked in restaurants (serving, bartending, and managing) and childcare for years before that, so cleaning has always been a part of my work. I am detail oriented, self-motivated, and always open to taking direction. \n\nI am happy to give an approximate quote online, based on square footage and number of rooms. That quote is subject to change once I see the space in person.\n\nFor recurring or maintenance cleans, I do a deep clean of the space for the first visit, which will cost more and take longer than the future maintenance cleans will.

They were on time which is much appreciated. They went into crawlspace and wrote up an estimate. This included: clean the air w/an air scrubber set up outside. Seal all vents, remove debris, clean the mold from the wood. Install 6 mil vapor barrier and a dehumidifier. The cost of this would be $5320 including the Angie's List discount.

This would have been all well and good but the true cause of the moisture was not found. Eventually we found that the shower was leaking and that was what needed to be fixed. Water was coming from the shower floor, overflowing the bladder underneath, leaking into the crawlspace.

Had we spent the $5300 to do what they wanted to do, we still would have had a moisture problem. Two other companies did not find the problem either but they also wanted thousands to seal off. Needless to say, fixing symptoms without fixing the root cause is throwing money away.
