"I used Breathe Kleen Air for two services, duct cleaning and then duct replacement. When old ducts were taken out, worker and I could both clearly see an inch thick layer of dust and gunk inside one of the return air ducts that was supposed to have been cleaned literally THE WEEK BEFORE. Since we ultimately had those ducts removed, the problem is that we didn't get the thorough service we had been expecting. (Which, I'd have believed WAS thorough except for what I saw when the ducts came out.) In retrospect, I wish I had just decided to replace ducts from the beginning and had skipped the duct cleaning. The duct replacement went well and I appreciated the care the crew took inside our home. The price for the duct replacement was about 20% better than the other quote I got."

"Service Star came out within 2 hours of me calling to schedule a maintenance and duct cleaning. Their price was very reasonable for everything they offer and I scheduled for the next day. When Service Star came out they sent two Technicians a man named louis and James, Both were VERY professional and did a great job. If you are in need of anything call Service Star!!!!"

"We were very happy with the work that was done and the house smells so much better! Alfredo and his helper kept everything very clean and were punctual. My only issue is that they used black screws on our white duct covers so I had to remove all those screws and replace with white ones. He did offer to come back and do it himself, but we had a time crunch to get house completed and on the market. Perhaps Alfredo will consider having two colors of screws to match the vent color."

"Michael arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. He was dressed professionally, and came in with a ladder, covers for the furniture, and a camera scope to take pictures of the inside of the ducts. I was thoroughly convinced that i had mold in my ducts, having been smelling it in the cabana. He was in and out of my scorching attic, removed several vents to scope, and spent approximately 30 to 45 minutes investigating. In the end, he cleaned up every speck of dust, and cleaned one of my vent covers. He advised that my ducts were all clean and clear, and did not need cleaning. He showed me pictures of the inside of my ductwork. He actually found the source of the mold, which was not in the A/C system, and brought it to my attention. How much did he charge for all of this? Zero. I gave him $20 for a tip, but wow... this is the most honest contractor I've ever seen. <br />"

"Air Handler is located in the attic. Water was dripping through the ceiling. Called last evening at approx. 6:30pm. Message on the answering service said hours are until 6pm. Left a message. They called back about 15 min later and were at the house about 15 min after that. Promptly diagnosed and fixed the problem. This is the second time I have used them based on angie's list recommendation. Excellent service, very reasonable prices."

Once under contract, his team arrives on schedule and works tirelessly to complete the job ASAP without compromising quality. RJ periodically stops by to monitor progress and returns for a final inspection at completion. The office staff goes out of their way to be helpful, before, during and after. I have to admit that the scope of their work with new ducting installation, air handler installation, and post-install air flow balancing was beyond what I expected and the final product is truly impressive! You don't call Durham and Sons for the cheapest job, you call them for the best job!"
