"Horrible. Worst experience ever. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT pay for labor upfront. A home renovation that should have taken two to three months, left me with 3/4 of the home renovations done after five months, and having to terminate him and hiring a new contractor. Costing me $18,000 more to hire folks to do it right. He didn't know the city codes, didn't get a building permit. City inspector shut down all work, almost 5 weeks no work. I ended up getting a building permit. Was promised over and over that work would get going again. A little here a little there. I was on the verge of having to move into a hotel as my lease was ending. I terminated him and got a new contractor, which completed the job on time by working 18 days straight - 10 hour days. Having to redo much of what was done wrong. Total cost was $18,000 additional to get everything done correctly and by code. He also took my $ and never paid the roofers, which threatened to put a lien on my property."

"Terrible! Handy sends pros that are new and some travel over 2 hrs. and complain about it. Each week they would send someone new that was also new with Handy and then half would not show up. They would always offer a credit for the no-shows but I had company coming and needed the cleaning not the credit after the fact."
