"SavATree lawn fertilization service so far has been excellent, but they are expensive compared with other local area lawn services. They performed a soil sample and provided the first crabgrass/fertilization treatment. The employees that I have dealt with David Kolb and Brian (don't know his last name) are knowledgeable, friendly, and have good customer service skills. I'm holding out on giving them a 5 star rating because it really takes a year to two years to see the results of a new lawn fertilization service, and we are just starting that process."

"This is the second year we’ve used Spring Green and the lawn looks pretty good. I noticed some weeds gaining ground in the yard and when I got a company customer satisfaction survey email I mentioned the weeds. (Note I would never post a complaint on a semi-public website (i.e. Angie’s List) without giving the company a chance to remedy the issue.) I received a call the very next day from the owner (Charlie) stating he was sorry about the weeds and would be sending someone out within a week to spray (at no additional cost, of course). Less than a week later, they were here spraying the weeds. Now it’s too early to see how effective the treatment was but I was just impressed with the personalized customer service that so many claim to have but few actually follow through. Spring Green DOES!"

We have used other lawn companies before to mow for us and they would come when they felt like it, whether the grass needed to be mowed or not. "My lawn in the front looks much better than it did years ago. The crabgrass was treated. It was $58 and they gave me a discount. I was sort of disappointed with the deep seeding that they did in the back but I was the one to blame, because I went to Maine and didn’t water the lawn for a while. But they told me that the seeds are still there. I am pleased with the front yard because there were so many weeds and they cured that problem and now it is just a matter of thickening up the back lawn but the soil around here is lousy. They were fine with the cleanup after they left. I was here when they did the deep seeding, the two workers that came were very prompt and very professional and they had two different machines and treated the lawn. I was happy with the fact that they solved the weed problem. I had such a terrible weed problem. The lawn is much better now."

"I called The Care of Trees on a Tuesday or Wednesday and was able to get an appointment with their arborist Bonnie on Thursday. Bonnie came out and listened to my concerns about our two cherry trees, which had not been trimmed in years.  She made suggestions about what would be best for them, which included taking out a few low hanging branches that were making our mowing difficult. I then asked her about two trees in the back, one of which had died, and the other was on its way.  She made some recommendations about what to put in the space instead (what would do well) and didn't try to push any extra services on me.  She printed out a quote to prune the front trees right from her car and I was surprised that to see that the job was very affordable.  I accepted the contract and she said that due to the weather forecast the next day (snow), her trimmers might be able to do the job then as their other job wasn't doable with the bad weather.  I accepted.  The next morning I was at the grocery store but my husband texted me at 8:00 am and said the trimmers were almost done.  By the time I got home they were already gone but the tress looked great and there was no mess left behind.  I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to our friends and neighbors. <br />"
