"Arrived on time. Courteous. Carefully and safely moved furniture pieces out of screened pool area (and returned it all back to original locations before leaving). Pressure washed entire area, stripped off old sealer, and applied 3 new coats. Looks absolutely gorgeous! Returned next day as promised to clean the pool. I received 4 estimates to replace the cracked, pitted, sunken concrete floor in my 97-year-old detached garage. Warren Perkins was the only contractor who addressed protecting the building's foundation. Both Warren and his crew were very professional. They arrived on time, and everything went as scheduled. My garage was not a big job, only 400 square feet, yet Warren communicated throughout the process. There were no surprises. As I hoped, the floor sloped very slightly downward to the outside. Also, as requested, the final floor was very smooth and ready for polishing/sealing. See before and after pics for comparison. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. "I hired these guys due to their great reviews and they did not disappoint. Very reasonable pricing, immaculate work, great communication. Set aside some time to request your estimate, Fred loves to talk about paint. His crew has been working with him for 15-20 years which says a lot about their business practices. I have had years of experiencing other contractors not returning calls, not showing up on time, or not showing up at all, so in this regard Above the Rest is a breath of fresh air. Fred once called me to tell me he was going to call me (at a later time), and also texted me to advise he was running 6 minutes late. Six whole minutes! Such respect for your time and the process is rare and much appreciated. Crew arrived the day prior to pressure wash the entire house, including areas I was not expecting them to pressure wash (patio, concrete pads around the doors, lanai screens). Painters arrived early the next morning and were very efficient and conscientious, clearly caring about their work. They repaired numerous stairstep cracks in the stucco prior to painting, repaired and touched up areas I would have never known were needed (around the chimney on the roof), and painted areas I was not expecting them to paint (lanai ceiling, inside of exterior door frame). They were finished with my 1800 sq ft single story home by early afternoon. I feel like I have a brand new house. I'll be contacting this company again soon to ask about interior painting."

"They had to reorder materials and so there was a delay. New material was not the same. Individual pickets slide - I didn't see that with first material I was quoted ...and places have been easily scratched/dented especially at gate area. I had also asked the person doing the quote to close up open areas at the bottom of the fence across rear of previously installed fence...he said no problem but I had to remind crew and then they used scrap pieces that weren't even smooth and it looked bad with nails that attached it sticking out. Neighbor behind me knocked the pieces they installed out due to the bad look on his side. So I had to patch with portable pieces (stick in the ground fencing from Home Depot) the best I could so dogs can't escape. It doesn't look great and a couple of the old scrap pieces hang out from it that I can't remove. They did work around an unusual shaped area and that turned out nice."
