"Natalie came to my home to do a deep cleaning of my one-bedroom apartment after I had just moved in, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She communicated beautifully leading up to her arrival and even arrived early, which I really appreciated. She is extremely detail-oriented and was able to clean areas that are often challenging to reach. She truly went above and beyond—she walked me through where she planned to start and asked if there was anything specific I wanted her to focus on. Every surface was spotless; it was so clean you could literally eat off of anything. I was so impressed that I will now be having her clean my apartment every couple of months. I genuinely look forward to working with her regularly. She is absolutely amazing!"

"Yvonne was warm and kind. She was punctual and left the place sparkling clean. Dusting, mopping, and cleaning the appliances. We were happy chatting with her afterwards. We look forward to working with her again in the future and recommending her to family and friends."

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in Manhattan, NY

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
