Customers say: True professional

"We had a really positive experience with T&T Painting LLC on a large, challenging painting project that needed to be completed before Christmas. Joey and his team stepped in on very short notice to accommodate us. The project was updating 1400 square foot living space in an old 1905 farmhouse with every kind of surface imaginable. Throw in one super active and curious lab puppy and this was no small feat. They got straight to work prepping and painting ceilings, walls, baseboards, window casings, and doors. Throughout the process, Joey was engaged, communicative and really helped guide us on making the right color decisions for our home. I also appreciated how much HE appreciated the bones and potential of our space. The end result was truly transformative and exactly the update we needed just before the holidays. We are grateful to Joey and his team for their efforts at such a busy time of year and definitely look forward to an opportunity to work with them again on future projects."

"I would highly recommend them, they were on time. Professional and considerate. They did a great job painting my kitchen that had been peeling and was a total mess. The end result was super and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!"

"Ecolecuá offers a unique collaborative approach with her clients. On our project, she struck the perfect balance; she listened to our ideas and feedback but very much maintained her role as the creative expert, making us feel comfortable the entire time. I would absolutely recommend Ecolecuá with no hesitation. With all she has done, she is going to find the right approach for just about any client. Aileen Dominguez Dentist, Boston, Massachusetts"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Manitowish Waters, WI

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
