"The experience we had collaborating with Jeremy and the Sensible Home Products (SHP) team was outstanding and one beyond anything we could have imagined. Although we would have wished wood rot, roof leakage, water damage and termite damage did not exist, they did. Because Jeremy provided the daily updates, he was able to share why the improvements were needed and important. He always answered my questions clearly and concisely. The SHP billing approach was clear so there were never any surprises. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably the project ended up costing. Observing Jeremy and the SHP teamwork was amazing. I have never seen such a talented, dedicated, caring, and creating team. They worked with amazing efficiency and effectiveness. I can attest, based on other projects we have taken on, this project would have taken much longer than the five short weeks (including Christmas and below freezing temperatures) this took. The quality of their work was remarkable and the pride in their workmanship was always evident. The extra touches he included in the project and the counsel he provided gave us 100% confidence that he would do what was right and that he, and SHP, would go above and beyond. The house is beautiful, and Jeremy and SHP will always hold a place in our hearts. They are an absolute gift, and they are now considered part of our family. I did not know Jeremy before this project, but I now count him as a friend. "Reported Kayan LLC/R. Lala to Consumer Protection. No respect for the elderly of parent of a disabled child. His masonry work was poor. Had to hire another company to repair the incomplete work. Did not glue on the caps that lay on the wall blocks, trim blocks to appropriate size and did not reinforce open gaps between the side walls and the floor pavers. Carpentry work was extremely poor job. He put up a ceiling under a deck, but did not make any provisions for installing a gutter or slanting the roof and the water accumulated between plywood and the outer panels. I had to hire a different contractor to remove these panels as they would have fallen on someone. Panels removed with one hand, leading to a downpour of accumulated water. He charged a miter saw and roofing nailer to my credit card and refused to return the tools and unused supplies. Quoted $3750 to powerwash and paint my handicap ramp in freezing temp and yelled at me when I refused. No remorse for his actions. "
