"Owner came out to look at our roof because we had some water leaking. He said the roof was showing it's age. There were holes causing the leaking because nails had popped up. He said he could fix the holes and it should likely get us another year or 2 or he could do the whole roof. We opted to have the holes fixed so that we could have a year to save up some money to offset some of the costs of replacing the whole roof. A week later there was a heavy rainfall and there were no leaks. We appreciated that he had an alternative to replacing the whole roof for now."

"Superb work, especially by roofer Erik Hofer, who managed the project. They were able to complete the roof (in December), repaired a section of gutter, and built a saddle behind the chimney to facilitate better water and leaf runoff. They arrived as scheduled and finished on schedule. After our horrid winter, we experienced ice dam leak in February. This was likely not the fault of the new roof, but even so, Erik came out himself the very next day and steamed the ice dam away and removed the snow from the section where the leak occurred, all without charging us, calling it a "courtesy call"! All-in-all, a fabulous job, with Mr. Hofer in particular standing out for his customer service."

"Agent came out, surveyed the roof, and measured what it would take to replace. Showed current styles available and provided a price after my selection.  Agreed upon a date.  The crew came at 7:30 AM and finished about 8:05 PM  Agent said he'd do it in 1 day and he did.  Neighbor couldn't believe they did it all in 1 day, whereas most new roofs take 3 to 4 days.  Clean-up was very good and delivered on what they said they would do. <br />"

"AAA+++ Just Fabulous! I met Pro Tech Senior Project Manager Nathan Knopp at my home after a terrible hail and wind storm struck my community on Lake Pulaski in Buffalo, MN this summer. As a result, we were able to get our roof repair expedited which suited us perfectly. Pro Tech is a Platinum Partner with Owens Corning which means we were able to do a wholesale level upgrade on our shingles to TrueDefinition Duration Designer Level shingles and we decided on the Merlot pattern/color. Our materials and crew showed up as promised and the work was done fast and efficient and passed inspection with the City of Buffalo easily. With Nathan Knopp's guidance and support, we were also able to upgrade our gutter guard to a style/manufacturer that is better suited/engineered to our steep roof pitch for our designer lake home. I have to say that working with Nathan Knopp and Pro Tech was easy and very informative and my wife and I feel that we came away from this experience with not only an upgraded roof and gutters, but with a lot more understanding of how the roof and gutter system in our home works to protect our home from the elements. "Following a storm that left hail damage to our roof, we contacted Black Bear Builders. While working with Stuart to choose roofing materials we decided to update the entire exterior of our house. This included siding, gutters, and garage doors. Stuart provided many roofing and siding samples for us to choose from and was quick to provide additional samples when requested. Stuart and his team were very friendly and professional. The quality of the work is top notch. Stuart was able to accommodate our special demands, such as lighting for the address, additional electrical for the Christmas lights, decorative brackets, and the dimensions of the complementary siding. Stuart came back multiple times after the roof was completed to check for nails in the drive, shrubs, and yard. He showed the same concern for our satisfaction after the siding was completed as well. It looks like we live in a new house now. It has been eight months since the siding was installed and we still get that feeling of satisfaction every time we pull up to our home.
