My project was for an 1,840 sq ft area and required excavation work, an interior 1,200 sq ft garage that was finished glass-smooth, and an exterior 640 sq ft covered patio finished with reclaimed timber stamped concrete. On my project, Dan was not only my concrete expert, but also my excavator, my exterior designer, and my mentor in how to shape my outdoor paradise, ensuring every aspect was done with intention. While other contractors just provided a price per square foot over the phone, Dan came on-site for our initial meeting and immediately demonstrated his professionalism and passion for transforming your standard concrete patio into something to be proud of. During the planning phase, Dan demonstrated that he was more concerned about doing the job right and beautifully then bringing home the biggest paycheck, and offered his years of insight and advice to help us design our dream patio. From day one, Dan went above and beyond - from brainstorming ideas on how to make the covered patio into the space we dreamed it to be, to working with a surveyor to ensure the area that was excavated for the project was plotted exactly as the plans stated, to walking us through each step of the process from excavation through final sealing, to providing frequent and clear communication and always being available for questions, and to providing advice along the way to ensure the interior and exterior portion of the project were absolutely perfect. When I was initially selecting a concrete mason, I had read a review about Dan that stated he is more concerned about doing the job right and beautifully then taking home the largest paycheck, I am very happy that that review turned out to be 100% true. "I contacted Ron to come out and give me an estimate for new concrete around my new pool. His price was very reasonable for all the work that needed to be done. They removed all my old concrete, disposed of it and leveled out the remaining dirt/sand. Ron and his men were great! They were able to work around my new pool that was installed, and filled the concrete up right up next to the coping. They they were always on time, and I had no problems with them whatsoever. They had everything completely finished as was quoted on his estimate sheet. They took care not to let any newly poured concrete into the new pool that was already filled with water. I would highly recommend Ron and his men for anyone looking for concrete work in and around their house. (Delayed post from 2017.)"

"A year ago, I had estimates for this project and was unable to complete the project due to personal reasons.   I was on Angie's List in the Spring looking for something else and decided to re-visit this project.  The contractor I was going to use had several reviews stating how expensive the estimates were.  I saw some positive reviews for Carrero & Sons and gave them a call.  They promptly returned my call and were out to give me an estimate a few days later.  Mike, Jr. asked if I was looking for stamped concrete but based on my prior estimates stamped was not in the budget.  Mike explained that stamped is their specialty and they had all the templates and could be very competitive in this area.  In the end, I paid over $1800 less than my estimates from last year for a mix of stamped and white concrete.  <br /> <br /> Rain in the spring led to the job being delayed but I received proactive calls to keep me informed as to where I was on the schedule.  This is one of the few times I have had someone call me before I called them!  Once we got started, again weather was a factor, but the communication was great and I always knew what to expect.  The finsihed results are wider, safer stamped steps and walkways, a new walkway to my houes, the replacement of a broken concrete walkway that now connects to a patio in the backyard.  All of this work was stamped.  They also replaced the driveway with white concrete.  Everything looks great.  They recycled some flagstones that were sunken and created a path for me and even cam back and replaced the wooden steps onto my patio that had seen better days.  I have gotten so many compliments, even envy from my neighbor who right before my project started replaced his driveway and was not thrilled with the finished result.  My drveiway is now proerply graded with water flowing away from the house and everything else looks lovely.  I highly recommend this company, a really nice family business that really cares about satisfying customers and doing quality work.  I would absolutely reommend Carrero & Sons and would use them again."

"They exceeded my expectations. I don’t know nothing about concrete. Michael and his workers are very professional. They answered all my questions. Originally were just wanted a concrete patio. Then he suggested Stamped Concrete. Didn’t know what that was. He explained and showed me pictures of patios that had Stamped concrete. I was impressed! I’m glad he suggested it. Michael was very easy to work with. His workers were on time and did a great job. They graded the yard and put seed down as well. Very Clean and Professional. I would recommend them highly for concrete and landscape work. Very happy with the patio."

"After 30+ years of living in my home, I finally decided to install a fence and I wanted it done right. So, after one year of interviewing fence contractors and getting eight estimates, a friend recommended Mike Liberi to me. He was worth the search and the wait! Mike is the best contractor, of any kind, I have ever dealt with. I can't rave enough about him. He is a true professional who knows his business and his craft, as does his crew. Mike and his crew installed 43 sections of 6' white vinyl fencing with black 5/8" pickets on top. The job was started on time and completed within a two day time period. Mike Liberi is that rare contractor who gets back to you immediately. No question (and I had many), is too minor for him to answer. And this continues even after the job is completed.
