"The event that destroyed the condominium interior occurred just before Christmas. By April, the contractor hired by the building insurance company to perform the restoration had replaced the insulation and drywall, but had made no additional progress. After almost 4 months, and many, many attempts, I was unable to obtain status information or any sort of a plan for completing the work. This apartment was rented to a tenant, who was forced out of his home until the renovations could be completed. The situation was untenable, so I gave up on the insurance contractor and asked DGL Construction to do the work instead. Although I was able to give them very little notice, after I explained the situation, Diego (the owner) arranged to assess the work and provide an estimate. He really went out of his way to help, and arranged his already full schedule to fit in this project. Within 3 weeks, Diego and his crew had most of the work finished, to the point my tenant was able to return. I provided some general requirements, made a few selections and ordered appliances, but most of the inspiration came from Diego himself. He even recommended a kitchen layout that improved on the original one. I truly appreciate the work by Diego and his crew over the entire course of the renovation project. The quality of the work, the caliber of the crew, the speed with which it was accomplished and the final result were all outstanding. What was also non-trivial is the amount of stress working with DGL Construction saved me. After trying to work with a group who gave me no feedback, answered none of my questions, and made no discernible progress, what a relief to work with DGL Construction."
