"I had a drywall disaster one Saturday night. I thought the drywall on the affected wall would need to be replaced. As a matter of fact I was told that much by a very knowledgeable person. So I went to angie’s list with the intention to find a drywall installer. MKD was one of the providers i selected. I did that at about 8 pm on that Saturday night. I then turned on my TV to watch a movie not expecting anything till at least Monday morning. In about 3 minutes I got contacted by MKD and after discussing my options, I was happy to learn that all was not lost and that they could do a miracle saving me from installing new drywall - a 2k endeavor. And guess what, they could do it Sunday morning! Wow. Mario showed up exactly on time. He was very patient and friendly throughout the whole proce . He worked for about 7 hours and did an AMAZING job. I also asked him to touch an area in the kitchen that had bothered me and my wife for months. He took care of that too. We were a very happy family that night indeed. Thank you, Mario!! I’m going to use MKD for all my painting and deywall needs!"

"Things went from bad to worse. I replaced a few boards before the sanding and staining was to be done. The carpenter told me "a few of the boards are thicker than the existing". I told the carpenter "don't worry about that. The deck guys are going to sand it all down". This was my understanding from the start. I have evidence I communicated with DeckMedic my understanding that the deck would be sanded to get rid of the rough surface. Their ad calls it "sanding to remove the raised grain". I even mentioned he will most definitely need to hammer all nails before sanding. Otherwise he will tear up his sander. He agreed. The sanding was never done and many of the nails were never hammered down. I brought a third party service company in for their opinion. Their professional opinion "the deck was never sanded as the raised grain on the wood stands out and is very rough" Second issue: my deck stairs needed rebuilt then would need stained. Ryan and I came to an agreement. He would give me a $400 discount due to my dissatisfaction. He would send me a discounted invoice marked paid and would include a contractual promise to come back in the spring to stain new stairs. After I paid him, he said the invoice is in the mail. It never showed up. Now he still won't give me the invoice."

"Ayala the Paintman Services is a quality company. Of all the places I went for quotes, they were the best at communication. And when they said they would show up to work they did. I love the time to detail that they put into the job. Our house is over 100 years old and needed alot of prep. They did a thorough job of prep and the final painting was excellent. "The work ethic must’ve changed since the reviews I am reading below. They did a horrible job on my deck on 4/26/25 and my neighbors even said who the heck did you hire? They didn’t sand the deck properly as the paint is peeling after three days and the boards were not replaced as quoted, They power washed it so much that the boards are damaged and they didnt replace as quoted. I also smelled weed. Josh said he would return to fix the issues and then ghosted me. Then when I try to call Samantha his wife , they will not return my calls. Samantha even started forwarding my call to a fake number. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. Stay away."
