"From start to finish <strong>Paul's Painting</strong> provided a <strong>GREAT</strong> experience! After the initial contact, Paul set a date within a week to come by to take a look at the project. He arrived on time and had a binder with other projects he'd done. He took time to look at the project and gave me what I considered to be a very reasonable quote. I told him I'd like to hire him for the project. He left a bzillion color samples for me to have fun with (or be confused by) as I still wasn't sure if I was going to stay with the same colors or try something different. <br /> His services included power-washing and minor repair (reattached loose fascia, secured a couple of deck boards). He did this a few days ahead of time so everything was ready to go the day he arrived to start the project. What I found especially impressive is that he power-washed on a day that was too rainy and overcast for painting - - talk about good time management! <br /> He arrived on the day the project was to begin and got right at it. He works by himself and requires minimal equipment. You can tell he's been doing this for a very long time because he is extremely efficient and has an eye for detail. He painted things I hadn't even noticed about my house nor would have thought to ask him to paint!! <br /> For the most part we had great cooperation from the weather and he was able to move quickly on the house and shed. He even made use of part of the holiday weekend to finish up this part of the project (he told me he might work on the holiday even though I encouraged him to spend the time with his family). <br /> Now for the deck...oh, the deck. I struggled to select a color, and Paul was careful not to lead me, he let me decide and we both thought the sample complimented the house/trim colors. The deck project began and within the hour I anxiously took a peek at how it was going to look. Only, I didn't like it... at all! As the paint dried it wasn't a tone that looked good next to the house color - I was devastated because I knew I'd picked it out and saw the brand new cans of paint setting there ready to go. Well, <strong> Paul's Painting</strong> <strong></strong> is a professional service and he makes no qualms about the fact that customer satisfaction is his utmost goal. So, true to form we discussed my concerns and he agreed that the shade of color could be better. Now what I asked? He asked me to trust him... he wanted to take the paint back and have them add some color to it. I was concerned that he didn't have a mixture to follow. I think his comment was and quot;this isn't my first rodeo.and quot; Which made me laugh and also put me at ease! <br /> He returned with the new paint mixture, started over and I have to tell you... it wasn't his first rodeo! The color was gorgeous - just right and I couldn't be happier! The decks took several days and if I remember right he even worked a weekend day again. <br /> Actually, there is a bit more to the deck story I have to tell you. He was probably within a half-dozen boards of project completion when he ran out of paint. He ran back to the store for the last gallon, returned and when he started painting, the color was off ever so slightly... to me it was barely noticeable. The person who had mixed all of the other cans wasn't available and so the mixture was off just a bit. Unfazed he waited for the right paint and came back to finish the job as only he would see it done! And none of these set-backs cost me an extra dime from his original quote! <br /> I would venture to say that Paul is very likely the best at what he does! I'd also like potential customers to know what great care he took in areas others might not...one was with plants and vegetation near the house and the other had to do with two nesting robins, both with eggs or young chicks that he very carefully worked around. <br /> Please consider Paul's Painting if you need exterior or interior painting done... I'm confident you will be pleased! <br />"

"Tony did an excellent job painting our family room. We recently purchased a home that had painted brown ceilings and dark tan walls. There is no way we could tackle painting over a brown 18+ foot ceiling on our own, so we started looking for assistance. We received 4 painting quotes. Tony was easily the most affordable (in one instance half the price) and quickest to get the job done. While we left on vacation, Tony came by, prepped, painted, and cleaned up. We came home to a and quot;newand quot; house. I would highly recommend him to anyone. <br />"

"Not great. The stripping of the deck was done promptly after the bid, and he did and excellent job there. NO complaints.  This is what he is known for and I have no complaints. However, he also took on a sanding of the deck where someone else tried to previously powerwash and did so with too high power a system and completely tore it up.  It was a mess. He tried to do so with a hand sander and it took LOTS of time. Due to this and putting more hours into it than he had planned, things became rushed, and when he became rushed, quality slipped. Footprints are still on my stained porch, I had to re-do one side of a building, and overall just attitude with us and his workers slipped. When taking his time, he did a great job. when he got rushed, he did not. He would start the job, turn it over to his workers, and then leave to do estimates elsewhere. If not as much done when he got back as he thought there should be, suddenly a very fast pace ensued and quality slipped.  <br /> So in short, if just doing stripping of decks and staining, he knows what he is doing, and when he takes his time does it quite well. Otherwise, needs to stay away from staining of wood structures if he doesn't know how long he will take, and can't take his time.  <br /> <br />"

"Tom was very professional.  He provided me with an estimate very soon after I requested it.  When he began the work, if anything came up that would interrupt his working steadily on my home, I was always informed.  (This very seldom happened but I appreciated it very much because I have had other contractors who would sometimes "just disappear" for an hour or two.)  He was very meticulous when he worked and the premises were always clean when he left for the day.  He is pleasant to work with.  One year later, his work still looks beautiful and I am very pleased. <br />"

"Although it's only been a few days since completion, I can't say (type) enough about how happy I am with Ecopia and the work Marcin & Luke did on my entire condo (900 sq ft)!! This was a HUGE (& messy) project. They removed my ugly popcorn ceilings throughout my condo, resurfaced my kitchen ceiling, then painted practically all rooms (including ceilings). <br /> Marcin arrived promptly every morning, covered my floors with tarps and covered my belongings in plastic. He was meticulous on the work from start to finish.  <br /> I got quotes from several contractors (some who discouraged me in getting the popcorn removed...and tried resift my focus on other work). Although cost was important, my decision to hire was also based on responsiveness, thoroughness of the process to be used and timeframe. Marcin was very detailed on replies to all my questions on email, text and in person -- before & during the entire process. Pricing was very fair for the work performed. I was amazed how quickly the popcorn was removed, then the ceiling was primed, skimmed, sanded primed again, caulked, then 2 coats of paint were applied. Not an easy task, but again -- so thorough! Some other contractors only wanted to do partial steps...but i definitely wanted this to last, and Marcin wanted to ensure it was done properly -- with no shortcuts. <br /> Marcin worked with me on coordinating the room/areas to be worked on over less than 2 wks, so I could rotate furniture, etc from different rooms and still sleep in my place. He/Luke even helped me move a few heavy pieces of furniture! <br /> They cleaned up/vacuumed daily...so thorough that I had no problem sleeping/eating in my unit. <br /> Still can't believe how modern, airy, and popcorn-free my place is!! I'm so happy waking up and coming home to see my ceilings and walls. <br /> I'd recommend Marcin & Ecopia to anyone!! You won't be sorry. He's really the best at his craft, friendly and very positive to making my project a success. "Prompt response to our request for a quote. Showed up when scheduled and prompt completion of work. Excellent quality or painting. Sent worker back the next day to clean up a few spots of paint on the brick. Kind of high priced but we felt we got what we paid for. <br />"

"Installation was very professional and seamless. My only complaint is that we were advised to have "our" painters stain the doors, i.e. not included in the estimated cost for the doors. I did not realize that it would cost another $900. to complete this process. I would have appreciated a ball park figure for this additional bill."

"Greg Rentschler and team were great. He came out quickly to quote our job. The work Timberseal did was fantastic. They power washed all our exterior decks and siding on our house. Then they stained and sealed all our decks and dock. Finished product is wonderful. Only minor complaint was that the work was quoted to be done in mid September (on August 2nd) and the work was not completed until the last week of October. BUT, it was done in an area of Indiana where its impossible to find contractors to do work let alone good quality work. Thanks Timberseal!"
