"-Repipe went well. Crew of 4 showed up, did the job and left the house in good condition. -Drywall/Texture. Crew of 2 showed up Monday, January 31, 2022. One worker had an emergency and only one was at my house most of the time. The one guy was at my house for two days and stayed until 9:30 pm. The third day, NO one showed up. -Job was supposed to take one day. We are now on day 10 and the job is NOT complete. -All workers were supposed to be Integrity workers. The worker that was at my house most of the time told me that he DID NOT work for Integrity. -Crew did not protect anything in the house, no paper or plastic was used to cover floors, cabinets, or anything. -House was left an entire mess. Drywall mud and dust everywhere. -Owner, Joe Ludlow, was notified on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, of the problems. He would not come out to my house until the following Monday. He was busy in class and in meetings. -Joe admitted the work and the mess was unacceptable. -Joe admitted the tile/grout needed a professional cleaning. Joe said he could not find a company to clean the tile and he asked that we find one. I found a company and hired them. When the tile was cleaned and the worker was waiting for payment, I called Joe expecting Joe to pay. Joe hung up on me and did not pay. I had to pay. Joe has not paid me for the cleanup of his mess on the tile. -Joe admitted the house needed a cleaning for drywall mud and drywall dust. Again, Joe left this for me and he has NOT reimbursed me the amount I have paid to clean up the mess his crew left. -The worker messed up a wall with drywall that was NOT part of the job. Joe said it wasn't part of the job and was unwilling to fix it. He gave us a very hard time about it, but, he did finally agree to fix it. It is NOT fixed yet. -Drywall was left on my cabinets that were just painted last week. Joe is refusing to pay for the cabinets to be fixed. He is saying that there is a defect in the paint job and that his drywall and drywall mud did NOT cause damage to my cabinets. The cabinets were painted by a licensed professional company the week before Joe’s company did the drywall work. Some of the stain is now off my cabinets caused by Joe’s crew attempting to clean the drywall off the cabinets. -When I ask Joe for reimbursement for cleaning up his mess, he tells me I owe him $1000. -Joe considers the final payment of $1,000 due when drywall is complete. -I agree I owe $1,000 to Joe when the job is complete. His contract reads $1,000 due when drywall is complete. His contract also reads, that when final payment is made, that I waive all rights to damages. -The job is complete when all drywall is completed, all deficiencies are taken care of and the final permit is signed off. -Joe’s company has mainly good reviews. I understand sometimes things do not go as they should. It’s the way that Joe is handling the problems that is the issue. A company with INTEGRITY would take care of the mess and the damages that they caused. A company with INTEGRITY would pay for all deficiencies that they caused. A company with INTEGRITY would not think I should make final payment until all work, including damages and cleaning is complete.. -Take a look at the pictures and decide for yourself if you want this company to do work at your house.
