"Jose Correia is a consummate professional. He and his team worked tirelessly in the spring of 2021 to remove my old faded lawn. Although I had some irrigation system issues once the lawn was reseeded, Jose stuck with the project throughout the summer. He carefully cut the grass and did all of the other necessary services that made my lawn look respectable. In the fall of 2021, he dug up the front lawn where the weeds had taken over, aerated the soil, receded the lawn, and fertilized it. In two weeks, I had the beginnings of a spectacular lawn. To this day, I smile every time I walk outside; it looks that good. Jose was patient and knew that the duration of his efforts would pay off in the long run. I highly recommend him for any job, large or small, when you want your landscaping efforts to pay off exponentially well."

"Harry did a fantastic job with my Spring clean-up, removal of overgrown shrub and dethatching of my yard. This alone reinvigorated my lawn. Iâ ll be hiring HMG for bi-weekly mowings and other landscape projects as well!!"

"Leaves this year up to my knees and I just had hip surgery!! Brattles Landscape responded to my request for assistance quickly, professionally and attended to every detail. The crew worked diligently, held respect for the garden beds and the property was left spotless. An excellent choice for landscape maintenance. We spoke of other projects on the horizon, and I look forward to working again with Brattles. Sagamore Beach, 2018"

FAQs for landscape soil, sand, mulch and rock delivery projects in Marion, MA

Topsoil packs your garden with the nutrients plants crave, improves soil structure, and lets water drain at just the right pace. The result is a welcoming planting bed that makes routine chores—like weeding and aerating—far easier. In short, quality topsoil boosts fertility, builds stronger root systems, and keeps your landscape looking vibrant season after season.

If you’re tackling a large area and have room to store extra soil, bulk delivery almost always wins on price. Bags cost more per cubic yard but arrive clean, sealed, and easy to haul around tight spaces or raised beds. Match the option to your square footage, storage space, and muscle power, and you’ll find the most cost-effective and hassle-free choice for your project.

First, measure the square footage you want to cover, then decide on a layer—most gardens thrive with 4 to 8 inches of fresh topsoil. A 40-pound bag spreads over 12 square feet at a depth of one inch. Multiply your area by the desired depth (in inches), divide by 12, and you’ll know exactly how many bags to load in the cart. Using this quick formula guarantees even coverage and a healthy, vibrant garden bed.
