We had an emergency fencing situation in January (my mother could no longer walk her dog and needed to fence in the backyard)...not a great time to need a fence in Ohio! The Fence Guy was one of the few companies that install through the winter as weather allows. Keith came out right away, earned the trust of both of my parents, stayed in constant communication with me and put in a fence as soon as could possibly be done. "This is our second home and our forever home. I contacted Fence n Deck doctors and the estimator and I walked the property and discussed what I was looking for; I wanted openness, country looking and something to contain 3 dogs. Fence n deck doctors suggested a particular style and showed me pics of a 4 board ranch style fence with wire. I got a written estimate and a date to begin. Installers came a day before original start date, which was great. The head installer listened to a concern of mine on one side of the yard and he explained the process perfectly. I left for most of the day and returned to what was a 100% perfect fence for the property and exactly what I wanted. The entire installation crew was professional, efficient and great carpenters! From start to finish, I honestly couldn’t be more happy. I also want to add my other house, the fence there was installed by Lowe’s and it was an absolute nightmare! "It looks great. It's not a 'normal' fence. I found something I wanted on Pinterest, and Skip and his crew did it exactly how I wanted. It took longer than he thought it would, partially because of the weather and partially because the wire mesh was hard to find. They had to drive around Columbus, Newark, and Zanesville to find something that would work. He even bought something that he decided was too flimsy, installed one piece and decided it wasn't good enough quality. AND, he passed on the $125 price difference to us. Good guy doing good work!"

"The primary goal of the job was to install a 5' X 10' section of pavers to cover the area around a standby generator.  The exhaust from the generator kills any vegatation (including grass) around the exhaust and it was just ugly dirt.  On the intake side it was just dirt and weeds so we just wanted something to look nice.  After Cory came out for the estimate we decided to extend the pavers to include the privacy fence gate so it ended up around 5' X 20'. 
Cory was very helpful (and patient) helping us pick out the color, style, and design of the pavers.  Cory and a helper (I can't remember his name) showed up very early on a Saturday morning and went right to work without disturbing us.  They worked right through the day and into dusk.
What should have been a "simple" job turned out to be anything but.  The patio that the pavers butted up to had settled and Cory had to match the slope to make the pavers look right.  Then we had hoped that he would be able to remove the skirt around the generator, lay the pavers underneath, and replace the skirt.  This turned out to be impossible so they "nibbled" every single paver to match the lines and rounded corners of the generator.  All this while maintaining a perfect herringbone pattern.
I would have been happy with a simpler pattern if it would have made the job easier but Cory was insistant that the job be done right and look good.
I was and am very happy with the job they did and if I have any other paver or landscaping job in the future I will be calling Cory first.
