"I contacted five tree removal companies to provide an estimate. The Greentree guy (I am sorry he verbally told me his name, but I have forgotten it).I provided him with my list of what exactly I wanted done and I accompanied him around the yard pointing out the trees and discussing the job. He seemed to know what he was talking about and provided me with what I thought was useful information. When we were finished, he verbally gave me an estimate and gave me some information about Greentree's schedule and openings. I thanked him for his time and he left. The estimate he gave me was the lowest estimate I received, however it was not written down nor did he provide me with any supporting paperwork like all the rest. It may just be me but I was someone uncomfortable with this approach to business. It may have worked out perfectly well if I had decided to go with Greentree, and maybe they are so busy they don't need to be more business like. In any case, despite the low estimate, I was just not comfortable with Greentree. Other's may feel differently."

It was a big project as they had to remove the old walkway and all the landscaping in the front of the house which included two trees and then install a new walkway and landscaping. Troy, the owner, was very thorough in providing the plans and layout in a written drawing and itemized cost estimate. His suggestions for the walkway design and plantings were much appreciated and I am very pleased with the result. The work his crew did was extensive and I think the cost was reasonable and a good value. In addition, the crew was polite, professional and worked efficiently."

"They did a great job on removing the fallen tree and standing tree. Good price on the job and even lowered the price after one of our trees fell in a storm (we got the quote before the tree fell down). Quick to respond and do the work. Cleaned up nicely. BUT - our front tree was butchered. They removed 3x as many limbs as we asked for. Came home to see the result and was quite shocking - the contract clearly states, trim small and broken branches. They removed so many that we are concerned for the health of the tree. When I called to ask, the response was that it was "to make the tree look better" and that removing so many branches will actually improve its health since the remaining branches will grow stronger. Clearly I'm no tree expert, but I expected a phone call to discuss the options of removing so many branches BEFORE they actually performed this work. These actions cannot be undone. In the future, ADM services should call and talk to their customers before they make a unilateral decision that goes counter to what the contract states.
