"Lee was originally called for duct cleaning and 1 duct repair. That turned into several ducts need repaired, turned into gas line needs repaired, turned into you need to encapsulate your crawlspace. Lee would avoid calls, would have to call him from other lines to get him to come out, constantly leaving for "emergencies", no call no shows over and over. Would show up for an hour of work and then leave. He verbally and in person said we were paying for a crawlspace encapsulation. I should have doublechecked his receipt before he left. he re-wrote it as vapor barrier but didn't even do that properly. There are holes everywhere, almost none of the posts have barrier up them. almost none of the side walls, no layers are sealed together, trash everywhere, entire sections undone. Asks for the money up front, cashes it minutes later and kept finding more "problems" that required more payments. In my opinion, would never hire him for anything ever again. This is Duct Busters out of Mattoon IL, owner and worker Lee Paden hired for an Oakland IL job. Spent over 4k in work, for 6 weeks of h*** to get him to finish. When finished, it is a complete mess and horribly unprofessional looking job in my opinion. Tried to call him to get our money back, but wont, and wants to "fix it". I don't want him touching anything under my house again. I just want him to give the money for the work he didn't finish."
