"I contacted D @ R Builders about an estimate for work the 2nd week of Aug 2011. They came the next day and gave me an estimate that beat out all others I had for my job. They started the job Sept 1st, 2011, less than two weeks after my initial phone call, only extremely heavy rain kept them from working. They finished up in 2 weeks. They stripped the garage, two story multiple peak house, front and back porch roofs. They replaced any wood that was rotten or not serviceable, put down new paper and then very nice shingles. They added peak venting with the house and garage roof and replaced a lot of bad wood. My chimney was in need of major repair and they reset the brick and added a concrete stucco on it to secure the brick in place. That was my choice they also can totally replace a chimney. After all the roofing and chimney repairs and replacements were complete they hung gutters on my garage, rehung serviceable gutters on my house and porch roofs, and replaced unserviceable gutters with new. <br /> <br /> The workers for D @ R are very professional and clean up the job site every day before they go home. They were very respectable of our needs while they were working. <br /> <br /> I am 100% pleased with this company and am using them in the future to install new siding on my house and garage, and also concrete my driveway. "i contacted Ernie to do a chimeny inspection and cleaning for this upcoming season. He came to the house and was very open and friendly. He checked the chimeny, said it was good and then cleaned out the inside of the wood burner stove. He noticed I had issues with the shingles on one side of my home and he also checked the flat roof on the other side of my home. He gave me his opinion after providing me pictures with what my roof looked like.... <br /> <br /> this is a family business and his wife and 2 sons worked on various things that needed to be done... <br /> <br /> the fireplace was a very tedious process, however when Ernie was done it looked really good...I was quoted by another contractor of 500.00 to complete the process and Ernies price was 248.00. he and his wife worked on the fireplace while his sons worked on the roof...."

"<p>Mr. Taylor did a wonderful job replacing our back deck.  He is professional, easy to work with, and a very hard worker!  We are very pleased with the end result and have had many compliments on our deck from friends and family.  <br /> The work consisted of removing the entire deck down to the supports which were still in great shape. The handrails and deck were all replaced as well as metal and gutters put underneath the deck for protection from weather when we are sitting on our patio below.  After the deck was complete, they replaced a sliding glass door onto our deck.  The door we purchased was smaller than the opening, so Mr. Taylor had frame in the door and insulate it.  We couldnt be more pleased with how he made it work.<br /> </p> Each day Mr. Taylor cleaned up the area and contained the building materials to one section of our yard.  We really liked this aspect of the work done because they took time to ensure things were neat before they left each day. <br />"

"They even carried a few packed items for my daughter, who was moving. They came within 3 days after calling to make an appointment. We were limited on time for my daughter's move. They understood. They didn't charge for the short notice. My husband underestimated the sizes of the 2 rooms and little hallway, so they did charge a few more bucks. Efficient with a good job trying to get out the OLD tenant's stains, but to no avail. We were worried that whoever we got would not please the landlord, which meant she would not have to give back the rent deposit. The landlord ask if we had THE professionals clean the rugs. We told her who came and showed her the name. She said they did a really good job. She used someone else, so hopefully she will give them a call."
