"Our very large deck was in need of powerwashing, stripping and refinising. My husband and I consulted several contractors for estimates and advice. The various and widely differing opinions which were given as to what should be done to our deck left us quite confused. Then we contacted Michael Basile Home Maintenance. Right from the start we knew that we would use Michael. He is personable, very down to earth, professional and knowledgeable but most importantly he took the time to explain all the different ways the deck could be done and what he felt was the best option based upon the age and condition of our deck. We went with his advice of a pigmented sealer rather than a stain and when I couldn't decide between two color shades Michael suggested mixing the two together. The result was perfect, exactly what I had pictured. He also powerwashed and sealed two picket fences with the same color and they look brand new. In addition, he also noticed some structural deficencies with the deck that we were unaware of and reinforced them. His crew was also very friendly and professional. You can tell that Michael really loves his work and puts his heart into it. He spent a great deal of time explaining the reasons for everything he recommended, answered all of our questions and really wanted to make sure that we were happy with everything. In addition, his price was among the best we received. We cannot recommend Michael highly enough and have, in fact, already given his name to our neighbors for their deck work."

"Andrew from Forte Brick & Concrete returns calls promptly and after agreeing on the price and work we made an appointment to commence the project. He and his father Peter do very fine work and are clean and neat as well as doing their work with a smile. Forte Brick & Concrete removed previously used handyman caulking that was used to seal some cracks (which looked like an eyesore) and corrected the cracks to look natural and not noticeable as well as repairing newer cracks in brickwork in the same manner. Everything was done as expected and they found 2 additional cracks which we missed during the initial inspection which they also fixed pro bono. Forte Brick and Concrete are very professional and expert in their field. I would not hesitate to use their skills again should the need arise. My brick retaining walls, patio and flower box are back to looking spiffy. Thank you Andrew and Peter for your expertise and professionalism ."
