"The initial meeting was for an estimate and to meet Ace face-to-face. Ace comes from a family of concrete workers and has been doing concrete work for many, many years. He obviously knew what he was talking about.
We had a concrete slab there prior and it was sprayed with a product called "Spray-Crete". That particular product had a guarantee of 4 years or so and as a result, it was deteriorating significantly in places.
Ace provided sound reasons as to why the old slab had to come up. I knew it was going to be a messy job with Ace bringing in some heavy duty equipment including a dump truck to haul away the old slab.
His team was efficient and knew exactly what to do.
Over the course of a few days, he had to old slab broken up, hauled away, a new slab poured, and stamped with the pattern and color of our choice.
My only "beef" with the job was the team's total disregard for plants and shrubs that bordered the old patio. There's a section that is totally bare and will have to be replanted.
