"I found out my water heater was leaking the night before. I noticed water coming from my laundry room had made a puddle of water into the adjacent office space. I decided to wait till next morning because I knew emergency calls can be very expensive. Next morning I started calling around for someone to come out and look at it but was finding it very difficult to find someone to come out same day. I called 3 or 4 different places and they were all not available or Did not call me back. The only company that responded to me within the hour was JM Plumbing. They were also the only company that were willing to come out same day and gave me an awesome price that beat all competitors by far. The owner agreed to come out to do the work at end of day after his last job, he arrived on time with an assistant. Was very professional, friendly, fast and did an excellent job. Total time installing was about about an hour to hour and a half. He went to buy a new water heater and new hose to replace my old one, gave me all receipts and warranty paperwork . "Cal Reese and his son, Jason, provided a service call on 8/13/13 after I contacted them because I had no hot water, only warm water from the taps.  It was determined that my current hot water heater either needed to be repaired or replaced.  They promised to arrive around 9 AM on the 14th.
Jason arrived on time and started draining the tank in order to determine whether it was going to be a repair or a replacement. When Cal arrived, they discussed possible repairs and determined that the heater needed to be replaced.  (The hot water heater had been in use since 1997.)  
All of the work took approximately 4 hours.  They removed all of the garbage, the old tank, and cleaned up the area.  They put my garden hose back on its rack and even watered my tomato plant.  
I had used Big Bird Plumbing twice in 2012:  they installed a toilet seat bidet which required the placement of a GFI outlet and then came back a couple of months later to install a permanent toilet riser.  They removed their shoes inside my home, at my request, and cleaned up all of the debris and packaging.
