"Joe and his crew did a great with our project. He worked with us on taking some cost out of the project to meet our budget and we're in and out in the timeframe they quoted. After the project, some of the sod they installed had dried out, we didn't have total coverage on the sprinklers. Joe worked with me to come out, install new sprinkler heads and replaced some sod all on warranty. Some contractors get there money and run, Joe was very responsive to the issues and worked diligently to fix the problem. I'd recommend them for your project and I'd use them again!"

"The men that did the work related to the prepping the yard for the retaining wall, placing the rock and pavers for the walkway did a very good job and it really looked nice. I've worked in construction and building maintenance for over 50 years, so I know what's good workmanship and what's poor. The worker who did the framing for the new sidewalk, steps and porch was poor workmanship. Nothing was level or straight and I had to have the other crew correct the forms before concrete was poured. The guys that finished the concrete did an excellent job. Never let D&D workers connect the lawn sprinkler piping to your house water piping. They seem to be handymen, not real plumbers. Beside not installing necessary valves and fittings to winterizing the sprinkler system, all the copper pipe was installed crooked, under stress and not supported correctly. Overall, half the crew did very good work, the other half needs training."

"Short version. Awesome design, met all of my requirements. Blown away by speed and quality of the landscaping work which I asked them to continue on and do. No reservations about recommending them every single time. Fernando and his team were just fantastic. Long version: Landscaping contractors are hard to read. There are so many of them, and some can talk a good game and then take 3 months because it's actually just two guys in a truck. So I was nervous until the first day when I think eight people, in safety vests showed up and began the project. I was having a full landscaping removal and replacement. Day one, the fence was out, and the new one was halfway up. Over a very short period of time, back yard slope was reduced and an excellent retaining wall installed. New French drains, new cement path from front driveway all the way to deck in backyard. Sprinklers, rocks, grass, bushes, sod, all came in waves. They used good equipment, took great care to not damage neighbor lawns, etc. On the design, I'd asked for something a little more modern, not xeriscaped, but less wasteful, and they delivered. I paid the extra for the 3D rendering which was awesome. It made it very easy to see what I was going to get. They were open to questions and suggestions, sent me the options on stuff like outside lighting and stain colors when appropriate, so again, no surprises. The worst thing I can say about the entire project was somebody forgot to toss a bottle in the trash one day. That's it. No damage, no surprises, no disappearances, none of the nightmares I've had with other landscaping projects in previous places. This was a dream. The idea of spending this much money (since it was a total redo) was very stressful, but seeing it come together so quickly and so nicely really helped a bunch. Final thought, Comcast probably didn't bury your cable deep enough, and even though it's located correctly, it will probably get ripped out. It took Comcast 3 weeks to fix it. That was not awesome and isn't Colorado Sunshine's fault. Be prepared."
